Day #1:
- Spent time with lots of our blogging friends and met with some of the brand sponsors.
- Enjoyed seeing lots of kitties and woofies.
- Met some cute six-week-old kittens from Kansas City’s Wayside Waifs no-kill shelter.
This is Kelly and Dad Tom. She’s already learned to pose for the paparazzi. Litter mates, Ken, Kevin and Karen were all there as well. Karen is the grey tabby.
- I made an honor flag for Lily Olivia. Last year I made one for Fiona and one for Sammy (Two Spoiled Cats). To see those flags, click here to go to our blog post, “Glimpses from Blog Paws 2017.”
- We each received a huge bag of swag, which included this special item for our little PTU Pooper, Sawyer. If you missed that post, you can see it at “Sawyer’s Sleepy Selfie.”
- Frontline® hosted a happy hour, opening remarks and dinner.
Learning sessions begin tomorrow and more opportunities will be available to meet with the product sponsors.
If you aren’t doing so, you can follow me on Twitter at @KittiesBlue, #BlogPaws.

Sounds like a great first day! Your flag for Lily Olivia is beautiful 🙂
I am excited for you! I love reading about who is there and what’s going on and about the swag.
Looks like you are already having a good time and those “K” kittens are very kute. 🙂
Sounds like you are having a lot of fun and that swag bag “treat” of a Mr. Poop toy is very cool. Tee Hee Kelly the Kitten and her brothers and sisters are just SO DARN CUTE……maybe you should kitt-nap her and bring her home?? Glad you’re having fun there and look forward to more pix. The honor flag you made is really very special and beautiful. Mom says she will never forget that you made one for Angel Sammy.
Hugs, Teddy Bean
Glad you are having a great time! The flag is beautiful.

My human and I are looking forward to seeing more of you this week!
I betcha you are hoping to bring home a pretty kitty …so tempting. And Kelly is oh so furry purrincess like already! MOL!
Glad you are having an enjoyable time. That is a wonderful way to honor Lily Olivia with that pretty flag.
Well if you don’t mind I think we will follow you at BP. I had planned on going – even had my ticket for the Conference but not much else worked out – I live less then 75 miles west of KC in Topeka, KS so really disappointed especially since KC<Mo is almost like a second home that I love. Most of all, I was looking forward to meeting all the bloggers – kitty and woofy and others not to mention the brands. Oh well ………. Anyway, look forward to hearing about BP from a cat's perspective.
