Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #97
Sawyer helped with the fill-ins this week. Several of the Kitties Blue volunteered to complete #2, but Sawyer won out as he is the quickest to anger and doesn’t resort to just hissing and displays of stink eye and helicopter ears. He uses all of those but prefers more aggressive displays of anger.
1. When I am nervous, I bounce my legs up and down.
2. Sawyer: When I am angry, I growl, bite and flail my legs. I pretty much do this whenever the humans try to pick me up or hold me.
3. Today, I know for sure that I’m going to very quickly get sick of seeing basketball on the TV.
4. For St. Patrick’s day, I will repost Mau’s St. Paddy’s Day limerick, and Cooper Murphy and Mau will go to Ireland with Cat Scouts.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 and Meowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). The intent is to give bloggers the opportunity to learn more about each other.
Ellen and Annie each compose two incomplete sentences for participants to complete. If you’d like to play along, you can find the blank fill-ins on their blogs on Thursday.
The blog hop takes place at McGuffy’s Reader. To join, click on the badge.
Awww, Sawyer, you just need to get more used to the pleasures of your new lifestyle…and that peeps who love you will sometimes pickk you up. Our 1st kitty took several months to warm up to us….and he did not come from the streets, he was a loved kitty that needed rehoming, but you are still sort of a street kitty in your mind…and scared of what will happen. Purrs and hugs to you…and your stink eye is furry cute!
Both TW and Pop bounce their legs constantly cos they’re nervous. I don’t like being picked up or handled either, Sawyer.
It breaks my heart that Sawyer did not have the kittenhood that he should have. Clyde gives StinkEye, but it is just his face! He has that Cagney look. But, I call him SweetBoy. It is sad that Sawyer really feels that way. It will be interesting to see how puberty goes, since we cannot neuter him. Oy vey. You would adore Bee. She is the sweetest, most cuddly girl ever. Seriously. I owe you an email, but am not sure what to say. I have more tests next week. Love you lots.
Oh Sawyer! Our Mama would find it very difficult to resist you!! You look exactly like her very first kitty, Tamus. He loved to be picked up and cuddled. Maybe you will enjoy being handled too once you get a bit older! 😉
the critters in the cottage xo
That is a good stinkeye, Sawyer.
So you don’t like to be picked up, Sawyer? I don’t like it much either, but I put up with it. ~Ernie
Sawyer, we think you should give the humans a chance. We have it on good authority (from the other Kitties Blue) that they are the very best!
We cannot imagine you could be grumpy, Sawyer ! Purrs
Sawyer, that happens a lot around here, too! Especially when trying to pick up Olive or Harley.
Sawyer your stink eye might even be better than Amarula’s!!!
We didn’t know you could be grumpy, Sawyer. We’re never grumpy so guess we forgot that all kitties are different. We did enjoy your answers though!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers Sawyer. I can’t imagine you being that angry ever though. My Sammy just got on the bus for their trip to Ireland too. Have a great weekend! XO
We didn’t know you were a growler and a flailer, Sawyer. We’ll try to remember that should we ever come to visit! Great fill-ins!
You don’t look happy, but you don’t like to be picked up or held. I can see why you’re not happy.
I linked this post to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
You look well not very happy. Daisy Mae doesn’t like being picked up either. Don’t know why? Daisy Mae, Myself and the family hate March Madness. Cat Growl, Cat Growl, MOL. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
Sawyer, you’re way too cute to be a grumpy cat pal!
Sawyer, you do not look pleased in that photo! I have to pay attention to basketball for exactly 1 day (probably), as tonight UMBC (my alma mater) takes on Virginia. It’s extremely unlikely that they will win, though, and then I can go back to not caring.
Sawyer you do look a bit “miffed” in your photo but you are just a kid and kids can be a bit contrary sometimes right? I’m not crazy about being picked up either but Mom insists on it. My Mom is tired of basketball on the TV too. Surely there aren’t that many people that like to watch a ball being thrown around although most of their spots have to do with that – they must be part cat since they like to play with balls????????
Happy Friday
Love, Teddy O’Kimmell
OOPS I meant to say SPORTS not SPOTS…..if humans had spots they’d have measles right?
Sawyer, that is not very nice of you!
