Feline Friday

On Wednesday Cooper Murphy and Raleigh managed to escape from the catio. Being a smart and good cat (who knows where the food comes from), Cooper came in when called. Raleigh on the other paw…
With both Dad Tom and I having some sort of respiratory bug, being outside searching was not an option. Last time he pulled this off, he showed up at 3 a.m. trying to get in the cat door. That was our hope for this time, especially as we knew it was scheduled to start raining at about 7 a.m. Thursday morning and essentially rain until midnight.
Being congested and having frequent coughing fits, both Dad Tom and I had frequent opportunities to get up and check for him, but with no luck.
I have him listed on PawBoost, FindMyKitty, Nextdoor and Facebook. Unfortunately, he will need to return home on his own. He will not come to us, so he is not going to let anyone else pick him up. I was not optimistic when he did this previously, but got the surprise of his return, so I am trying to stay optimistic this time.
A few prayers and some POTP would be appreciated.
Cooper Murphy will be heading over to messymimi’s meanderings for the Feline Friday blog hop. Click on the badge below if you would like to join the hop.

Apologies
I did not write a poem or post yesterday. That would be due to Raleigh disappearing, Sawyer having a seizure and Dad Tom and I both being sick.
I did, however, have a thankful to share yesterday. I was the only first commenter on the Two Spoiled Cats’ Tuesday Teaser as well as the first right guesser. This is the badge I received.

I think it is probably not too late to join the Thankful Thursday blood hop hosted by Angel Brian. So, here’s his badge, which will take you to the hop.
Thanks for coming to visit us today. Depending on how the day goes, we may or may not be back tomorrow with some Caturday Art. We will definitely be here for Sunday Selfies.

Charlee: “Sorry we are running late so we missed providing purrs and POTP, but at least being late means we know Raleigh came home safely!”
Chaplin: “Don’t scare your mom and dad like that, Raleigh! Especially when they are sick!”
Silly thing to say but ‘If we can help let us know’. I only know that Lost cat Finder Kim Freemen would be my first go to if you get desperate but, for now I dearly hope he comes to his kitty senses and knows where the food is.
Oh no! We’re sorry to hear that Raleigh got out. Come back now, Raleigh!
Sending POTP for his safe and speedy return. And healing purrs for Mom Janet, Dad Tom, and Sawyer.

Crap, I’m so sorry to hear that Raleigh escaped. I sure hope he comes back on his own and I hope you two feel better. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Sending purrs for Raleigh’s return, and more for the humans to feel better.
I’m so sorry you’re sick then have Raleigh to worry about on top of it. Hopefully he’ll return safe and sound. We’re all saying a prayer for that. Please take care of yourselves.
Chia: I run really fast, really, really fast, and could come look for Raleigh and chase him back home!
Mom Amy: The first time he hisses at you, Chia, you’ll be running back home yourself!
Oh no, it is like déja vu. I do hope he comes back quickly. Cooper Murphy was a very good boy and knows where he is loved and well off. I hope you and Tom are both soon feeling better.
Sorry for the infrequent commenting, Feedly still refuses to recognise your url. I try to remember to look on Blogger feed but keep forgetting. I remembered to look on the Cat Blogosphere this morning!
Yikes, Raleigh, get back where you belong, Buddy! I’m serious! Adding a ton of purrs! Purrs also for both you and Dad Tom to feel better fast! Congrats on being the first commenter and first right guesser too!
