Dad Tom’s lap is one of the most coveted seats in the house. Astrid was the lucky one to have claimed it here. And it is exactly where she is again as I write this.

Friendly Fill-Ins

The Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop is hosted each Friday by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They publish the fill-in sentences on their blogs each Thursday. To join the hop, click on the badge at the left.

I was fortunate to have both Sawyer and Stinky help out this week. In fact, Sawyer stepped forward to fill-in #4 after I had already completed it. So, we both have filled it in. We all have used teal italics for our fill-ins. Any explanatory information is in parentheses.

1. The summer is just about over and I have yet to wash the front porch flooring.

2. Stinky: The highlight of my summer was asking Periwinkle to marry me.

3. Tilly Jenkins is a fictional character I really relate to. (Tilly Jenkins is a cat in the No. 2 Feline Detective series of books.)

4. My interest in poetry began when I was in elementary school.

4. Sawyer: My interest in treats began when I first tasted one.
