Thankful Thursday
As we do each Thursday, we are entering the Thankful Thursday blog hop hosted by Brian. To participate, post on your blog for what you are thankful and then click on the badge at the left to hop over to Brian’s and enter your link.
We are all super thankful for cooler, fall-like weather. which is excellent for snuggling.
Mom is thankful for her new t-shirt!
Sawyer and Mom and Dad are thankful that his seizures have become less frequent. He had one in the middle of the night Tuesday. It only lasted a couple of minutes, stopping on its own. And once again it was 20 days since his previous one. The past four have been on this same 20-day timetable. After having a seizure every three or four days, this is a major improvement, and one we are praying will continue indefinitely. We are equally thankful for all the purrs, prayers and POTP everyone has sent him.
Finally, Mom is thankful that she will reach the milestone of her 750th Peloton ride today. She also has not missed a week since she started on the Peloton and is now in her 119th week. Not a bad record for a 70-year-old. Go Mom!

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
I usually begin our Thursday with the poem I have written for the inspiration photo provided by Two Spoiled Cats. This week, I am embarrassed by the fact that I could only come up with a not very good haiku, and so poetry comes in second this week.
Here is the photo followed by that haiku.

a competition?

We’ll see you here again tomorrow for Feline Friday and Friendly Fill-ins.
Cute shirt!!! Mom got a cute kitty sweatshirt in Maine and I’m sure she will be showing it off soon. We’re sorry Sawyer had a seizure but glad they are becoming a little more predictible so you are more prepared….let’s hope the days get LONGER between them though. Thanks too for the great haiku for the photo this week – we figured it had to be some kind of competition too!
Hugs, Teddy
I am so impressed about the Peleton. I am thrilled to read the seizures are less frequent. Nice haiku. XO
That’s great news about Sawyer. We hope it continues. The mom loves that t-shirt and wants one. 🙂
Sawyer is doing awesome. 20 days compared to 4 days is a great jump. Let’s hope the med keeps doing its job.

That is very good news that Sawyer is going longer between seizures and having less severe ones. I continue to send good thoughts for him.
Continuing purrayers and POTP for Sawyer ! Such good news !
What great news, Sawyer. I’m so happy to hear about this. I’m doing the happy dance with you and your peeps.
Love your poem. I hadn’t noticed the numbers until you mentioned them.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday, Sawyer. My best to your siblings and your peeps. Hug to your mom. ♥
Wonderful news about sweet Sawyer – yay! Congrats on the Peloton accomplishment! Good news all around.
Our cats probably wonder why their humans go so loco over their peets, but I surely do…and looks like you too! Hoping the time between Sawyer’s episodes stays nice and long.
We’re very thankful that Sawyer is doing so much better! Cute Haiku and I never noticed the numbers until you mentioned them. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We’re always unhappy to hear that Sawyer had a seizure but glad they seem to be spaced out more.
We noticed those numbers too and wondered if it was some kind of a competition. We got distracted by the fev-vers though 🙂
