On July 5, Kitties Blue told you about cats living at a steel mill. You can read their post here. These kitties needed to be rescued, and I had a comment-a-thon and pledged $1 for each comment to raise funds to help with the process. A donation of $60 was made thanks to all those who commented.
Here’s an update from Barn Cat Buddies with the good news of what has occurred during the last three weeks.

It’s great news that the kittens were rescued. Barn Cat Buddies is doing pawesome work there at the steel mill.
I’m so glad there’s a happy ending for the kittens … they’ll love having forever homes. Hopefully the adults will be brought in safely too.
Such great news about the kittens! It sounds like some very dedicated kind hearted people have been at work!
Thank you so much for the well wishes and I am devastated not to have made it to Mau and Allie’s wedding. Truth is The Staff was flummoxed by the new Cat Scouts web site and when she went to visit Saturday morning she saw she had to contact the Denmaster! Now we know The Staff is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so she ummed and ahhhd and then backed out slowly! Anyway I want to wish you both every happiness, lots of treats and maybe some baby mallies? 😉 ❤️❤️
Thank goodness the kittens were all rescued and hope that the adults will will also be rescued and cared for too.
So happy about the kittens!!
Paws up! I’m thrilled all the kittens got rescued – now onto the adults!
You are wonderful. So is the Barn Cat organization. The steel mill story just breaks my heart. They are in my prayers.
Congratulations to Beaded Tail, too!
Hugs!
