Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #197
Last night Mom invited me to sleep in her lap. I wasn’t going to turn down that offer.
But then she blamed me for her inability to get on her laptop to write this post. I thought that was pretty cwappy. But the situation got even worse. She told me I had to not only write this post but also complete the fill-ins. Sheesh!
What’s a guy to do? That’s Calista Jo behind me lying on Mom’s legs. I thought she should have to help, but Mom said what she types on is not called a legtop. HUH?
Anyhoo, my fill-ins are in teal italics. Any explanatory info is in parentheses.
1. I know spring is almost here when skunks and groundhogs start appearing regularly in our yard. (We saw just one groundhog on a warm day, so spring isn’t here yet. In fact, it will be a windy night here with temps in the mid 20s and possible snow showers today.)
2. I find my seizures confusing.
3. I have a strong opinion about the noms I am given to eat, as they always have medicine added to them.
4. Bonita flakes is are the strangest thing I have ever eaten. (Chris brings these to us occasionally as a treat. They are yummy but still the strangest thing I’ve ever eaten.)
So, I am joining the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop hosted by Ellen from 15 And Meowing and Lorianne from Four-Legged Furballs. If you’d like to take part, you can find the sentences to be filled in each Thursday on their blogs. To join the hop, click on the badge at the left. It will take you to Four-legged Furballs.
Feline Friday
I also am hopping over to visit Sandee at Comedy Plus for Feline Friday. If you would like to join me there, click on the badge below.
Purrs and paw-pats, Sawyer (with whisker kisses for Noelle)
I never had those Bonita flakes you speak of. Are they like Bonita bananas? HAH! Every time I get Muse there’s pred in it. In fact I won’t eat it without the pred.
You are such a sweetie Sawyer. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry your food has to have meds in it. And I am sorry you have seizures. 🙁 XO
Sawyer, your fill ins were right on. I found my seizures confusing too. Luckily, we finally remember the important stuff like when dinner is served.

We think you did excellent with your fill in responses, Sawyer, even if you didn’t feel like doing them. Price you pay for having a lap to lay in. 😉
Great fill ins, Sawyer. Eric and Flynn had fishy flakes sent to them once and they kept sticking to their noses.
Sawyer, you know that every one of us wishes we could waive a magic wand and make your seizures go away. We pray for you all of the time, and send warm fuzzies to you and your pawrents.
dood….we iz knot sure we wood likez see in a skunkz in de yard; spring, summer, fall ore winter !!! 🙂 ♥♥
Moms lap is a wonderful place to nap. So precious.
Aw, I love all your fill-ins, Sawyer. You’re so smart.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your siblings and your wonderful mom. ♥
You did really good on your answers Sawyer and we love your comfy cozy photo!
Dear Sawyer, I would so LOVE to snuggle with you. You look so warm and comfy and, of course, handsome!!!! You did a super job with the fill-ins!!
paw pats and headbonks,
Noelle
ps – Allie sends smoochies and love to Mau too.
My cats have never had bonita flakes … they suspect they are missing out.
You look very happy and content in that photo, Sawyer. I hope your days are filled with moments like that and not those confusing seizures.
Sawyer I’m sure your seizures are confusing and all of us wish you’d just never have to have one again but if you take your medicine, you will have FEWER of them I’m sure!! We haven’t seen any groundhogs yet but we do have a visiting raccoon that will come up on our front porch for “leftovers” from Timothy’s breakfast! You and Calista Jo sure look comfy on your Mom’s legs. Maybe one day I’ll give my Mom’s legs a try. I’m just not a lap/leg kitty but there must be something to it because a lot of my friends are!
Hugs, teddy
Sawyer your fill ins are a great read, and I bet your Mom was glad you were able to help her out!
