Awww Mondays
Please DO NOT tell Mackerull (Trout Talkin’ Tabbies) that our mom thinks these hummers are awww-dorable. She’s a human, and they have strange likes and dislikes.

The two close-up photos were taken by the built-in camera on one of the hummingbird feeders. The other two photos were taken by Mom with her phone.
Mom and Dad try to put the hummingbird feeders up in April or early May on the recommendation of Mom’s friend, Mary Jane. She lives in the country, and hummers always show up there early in the spring. Unfortunately, they never arrive at our house until July or August, and it was no different this year. In fact, we only had a couple of sightings in July.
So, Awww Mondays is a blog hop hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus. It would seem that these hummers will be joining it. You can do the same by clicking on the Awww badge.
If you want our opinion, nothing is more awww-dorable than a cat, and we take umbrage with none of us being displayed here today.

We are now turning this back over to Mom for a Spark.
Sparks
When I was meditating with the Peloton app on Sunday, the instructor mentioned self care. Hearing that, I thought it would be perfect for today’s Spark. When I started searching on BrainyQuote for a representative Spark, the following spoke to me.

I created the graphic for this Spark a few months back using the AI feature in piZap. The panda represents me and the squirrel represents my friend, Mary Jane, who was mentioned earlier in the post and whom I write of often. (Some of you may recall she was Mau’s human girlfriend.) Pandas and squirrels are our favorite animals, and I think the graphic is just right for this Spark.
I was unfamiliar with Karen Salmansohn and so checked out her website. Not Salmon. This is what she said about herself: “I am a leading Behavioral Change Expert, Bestselling Author & Serial Entrepreneur with 2 Million Books & Courses Sold, 1.5 Million Followers, and Oprah & Psychology Today Columnist. I’ll help you unlock your highest potential so you can live a life you love!”
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. It began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky Reminder
Tomorrow is the special day when our cute and cuddly, tabby adventurers, Periwinkle and Stinky, set out on a new adventure. Stinky has shared with me what he has planned, and I think you will want to join him and Periwinkle again this week. I know these two sweeties will be looking for you right here. Please don’t let them down.
Thanks for joining us today.

Charlee: “BIRDS!!!”
The hummers are quite lovely and yes, we people have odd taste sometimes, may Trout Towne forgive us.
Those are such amazing close ups of the hummers!
Excellent spark. I won’t tell Mackerull about the birds. XO

***nose rubss*** BellaDharma an ((hugs)) BellaSita Mum
I’ve never before seen a hummer (or pic of one) so up close, showing their extremely long beaks.
Another great quote. Hubby and I are looking for ways to do that with some of the family…
Love your Spark. So true too. It’s great advice.
We feed the hummingbirds year around. Right now we have 6 large feeders and it’s all hubby can do to stay on top of them. We have tons of hummingbirds.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Love and hugs to mom, scritches to all the kitties and a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer. ♥
An excellent Spark; thanks for sharing.
We won’t say a word to Mack, we promise.
Mom has tried so many times to attract hummers. They just don’t seem to come to the beach. She thinks the sea breeze here is too much for them.
Great Spark!! Periwinkle can’t wait till tomorrow!!
The Florida Furkids with love and whisker kisses to Sawyer from Noelle
Mine showed up a week and a half into April and stayed till the first week of October. The squirrels broke feeder after feeder trying to drink from them (and succeeding, till they came down and broke) ..terrorized the hummers and made horrible sugar messes all over my deck…after years endears, I had to give up feeding them.
I think birds can be cute, too. Years ago, we had a bird feeder that attracted Nanday Conures. We thought that was very cool.
Wonderful close-ups of beautiful hummingbirds…..we love them – don’t see them often here but once in a while and it’s such a treat! We love your SPARK quote as well. Can’t wait to see what the two lovebugs (cats) are up to tomorrow. We’ll be back.
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Those are lovely photos of the Hummers. That is a great quote too, we all need a special friend.
Perfect spark and lovely hummers. We don’t have them here in the Pyrenees or rather we have a strange-looking little short-beaked thingy.
What great captures of the hummers!
