Sunday Selfies: Week #268
Mom always has a good giggle when she sees my whiskers. They didn’t always look like I just had a perm. Mom thinks they have developed their peculiar look due to my penchant for curling up in a ball and spending most of my time in the hidey hole of our little cat tree.
Though these are my real whiskers, I did ask Mom to do some magic with my photo and remove the freckle in my right eye. It has gotten larger and is very distracting. If she hadn’t taken it out, you probably wouldn’t even notice my whiskers.
I hope you enjoyed seeing me. I know I am really excited about seeing the selfies of all our friends as well as any newbies who might join the hop.

Giulietta, your furs and whiskers and eyes are all so beautiful! Truth be told, your eye freckle wouldn’t bother us at all. Angel Rosie’s blind eye ultimately turned completely brown, and it was simply part of who she was. You’re gorgeous no matter what, Giulietta!

Auntie Katie helped a Persian with curly whiskers finds a forever home lots of years ago… she had to have them trimmed to keep out of her nose and eyes!

Giulietta dear, Those whiskers are simply enchanting! As you may know, I have some unusual whiskers myself. Most are plain black, but I have a single white whisker on each side. The Human says they make me look like Salvador Dali whoever that is. I had a pretty wild week, my friends. I was a sick mancat, let me tell you. But I am all better now and glad to be here for the Sunday Selfies!

WOW – those are definitely the curliest whiskers that I’ve EVER seen and I bet your Mom’s right – when we get all snugged up in a ball our whiskers get crinkled and crumpled and have a mind of their own! So what – you look grand with curlies or straighties!
