A QUESTION FOR PERIWINKLE

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday 

Thursday is the day when we participate in Angel Sammy and Teddy’s (Two Spoiled Cats) poetry challenge. They provide an inspiration photo, and participants write a poem based on the photo.

Usually I author the poem, but today the author is our cartoon tabby cat, Stinky.

A Question for Periwinkle

I found a cottage built for two,
and it’s purrfect for me and you!
There’s a garden with flowers of every hue,
but none are as beautiful as you.

We can enjoy our lives here forever,
except days when we’re on an adventure.
We’ll celebrate all our days together
with moments and love to treasure.

Please say you’ll come away with me today
and become my fiancée.
We’ll make a home where we can stay
All the rest of our days!

Thankful Thursday

Thursday is also the day we share the things for which we are thankful and then join Angel Brian’s blog hop.

I had the biggest thankful for last week and then forgot to share it. In fact, it is so huge, it requires a headline:

Newsflash: Read All About It!

I pet Raleigh 14 times from head to tail before he realized it was me, panicked and sprinted away. Bet you never expected that.

I finally was able to get out in the yard and do some weeding and clean-up.

I was the first and only student through the classroom door at Teaser School over at Two Spoiled Cats and received this badge.

 

Pooh is one of my favorite characters in literature.  In fact, I like him so much, he is tattooed on my back along with his pal, Tigger. So, I particularly like this new badge.
