Feline Friday

Cooper Murphy will be purrticipating in the Feline Friday blog hop hosted by messymimi’s meanderings. If you would like to do the same, click on the badge below.
Never Forget

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on New York’s Twin Towers, the Pentagon and the crash in Shanksville, PA, of Flight 93. It seems impossible that 25 years have passed. It remains so vivid in my mind. Today my prayers go out to those who died, those who survived, the first responders, volunteers, medical personnel, families and friends of those involved as well as those who became ill or died later as the result of their working at the site of the destroyed towers.
I wish Americans could remember how the citizens of our country came together then and quit needlessly killing each other. We are better than that!
Unfortunately, I did not complete today’s Friendly Fill-ins, as I was unable to come up with appropriate responses.
Thanks for stopping in for a visit. We’ll be back tomorrow with some art and a Dad Tom joke that you don’t want to miss.

Cooper Murphy, thank you for stopping your bath for a moment to pose for Feline Friday. I know that’s not always an easy thing to do.
We all still grieve, I think. It’s hard.
Cooper Murphy looks so cute! We remember that sad day, and the sadness for those lost, and the lasting fears it caused all too well, even though we live far from New York.
Cooper Murphy is a cutie. XO
What an adorable photo!
There is no way in the world I could ever forget that horrible day. Howdy Cooper Murphy!
Your assessment is spot on. If we could be as unified now as we were then there would be peace.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches to the kitties, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and a big hug to you. ♥
Perhaps with a less devisive leader…
See ya tomorrow!
Charlee: “Humans find it so fascinating when we take baths! I don’t really know why.”
Chaplin: “We weren’t around for 9/11, of course, but our Mama and Dada will never forget it. Our Dada was in a meeting in the only room in the building that had a television, and somebody knocked on the door and said they needed the TV, and that was the end of the meeting. And of any work for the rest of the day.”
25 years.
We are better than that.
Whoa, Cooper Murphy looks like a centerfold kitty!!! Noelle sends forever love to Angel Sawyer. We agree with Charles Huss.
That’s a cute picture of Cooper. I remember how we were all Americans and minor differences didn’t matter back then. Now, thanks to social media, we are more divided than ever. Hopefully we can get that spirit back without another tragedy.
