Though it is Wordless Wednesday, we could not post without sending our condolences to Debra at Manx Mnews for the passing of her tuxie beauty, Abby. We know Debra is devastated and grieving, just as we know that Abby will be missed by everyone who came to know her through her blog. If you haven’t stopped by to leave your condolences, please do.

I don’t know how to say good-bye.
I thought you were invincible; though,
You used up many of your nine lives.
You ruled us all with an iron paw;
Never took “no” for an answer
And always got your way.
If not, you’d bark to signal your
Displeasure and sometimes raise a paw.
I always joked that you were bi-polar.
When I told people you were a calico
They immediately understood what I meant.
Today was unnaturally quiet in the house.
Can a home seem empty with eight cats?
I will miss waking up at night to find you
Sitting next to me and staring at me.
I will miss you yelling at us as you did
When you wanted breakfast and dinner.
I will miss watching you lounging and snoozing
On the porch settee on a warm afternoon.
But most of all I will miss your kisses!
When kitten Sawyer befriended you,
We suspect you were imparting your
Wisdom and secrets for controlling us.
Time will tell if he was a good listener.
But whatever he may have learned,
Neither Sawyer nor any other cat
Can or will replace you in our hearts.
Lily Olivia, you were one-of-a-kind.

We just can’t get enough of those kitten pictures!!
We have been sending our best purrs to Abby’s Mom & Dad and fur family too. We hope that her Mom is finding a little peace now….Abby was a very wonderful girl!
I cannot read abut Abby because I am nursing my priceless cat girl who is slowly going away with kidney failure and a cyst that contains cancer cells. She is not well enough to operate, doing so may spread cancer faster thru her weakened system. My heart is already broken but I send Abbys’ mom all my sympathy and love sincerely. V.
It’s so sad to lose one of our furry friends. 🙁

Hi Guilietta. TW can never pronounce your name but Pop corrects her. We feel terrible about Abby and know her Mom must feel terrible.
Hmm, that looks like another yoga pose we might have to investigate!
We too are sad about Abby’s leaving. We know she’ll be able to reach her mom soon, after she gets situated, and help heal her heart. Purrs….

Thank you so much for your special post remembering me. My poor Momma is heartbroken and I cannot reach her from the RB. My little paws are just not long enough. But I appreciate that you are helping her where I cannot right now. She is suffering from losing me, but I want her to know that our love will transcend it all. She I believe will see this in time, but please watch over her for me, OK? She needs a lot of purrs because her heart has shattered into a jillion sharp pieces. Thank you again so very much.

Our prayers for Debra and her family.
Looks more like a head plant. Don’t have a puddy no more but I’m sure our dog used to be one.
We didn’t know Abby or her Mom and family but spent some time this morning visiting and reading and grieving for them. Those pawprints on our hearts just NEVER fade away….never.
