Sunday Selfies: Week #83
My selfie this week features my meowvolous whiskers. Sorry the background is a bit busy and distracting. Sometime I fail to notice my surroundings when snapping selfies. Mom said she could crop most of the stuff out of the photo, but then my whiskers would have been eliminated as well. I especially like those two above my right eye. Mom always calls those forehead whiskers eyebrows. She’s silly.
I also wanted to show everybody that I don’t always look like a grumpy puss. I think my expression is bordering on the pathetic with a quiet pleading that says, “Where are my treats?” I really cannot complain about a lack of treats. Since Fiona’s been sick we’ve all been getting more treats. I am sorry she’s sick, but the free-flowing treats offer a bit of a silver lining for the rest off us.
Now it’s your turn to share your whiskers, toes, nose or whatever body part you like in your Sunday Selfie. Just remember, this is a PG-rated blog. No kitty porn please.
Should you have any problem adding your link, let us know in comments, and Mom will enter it for you.
We encourage you to invite you friends to join us. They do not have to be cats. All anipals are welcome.
Finally, if you’d like to have the hop appear on your blog, you can get the code below. We ask only that you display our badge and/or link to The Cat on My Head.
Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia
That is such a purrty selfie! And we love seeing all those nice long whiskers! They add character:))
Darling Lily, Would I be in a lot of trouble if I said a Lady Cat’s place is properly in the kitchen?
Yes?
Well, what if I said it’s only because that’s the best place to catch any extra toonas or chick-hens that might accidentally fall on the floor? See? You know I am right!
XOXOXO
I love this. Whiskers and all, you are adorable.
We hope to settle into a schedule soon. Bill’s job will allow him a lot more home time, including weekends. I need to figure out how to blog around him and hopefully plan ahead. Love you all. ❤
So sorry to hear your kitty friend is still feeling poorly. I’m hoping for the very best. And yay to you for looking on the bright side of things. We could all learn a thing or two from your positive cat-itude.
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
That’s a great selfie. You do look just a wee bit miffed and it makes sense that you’re annoyed at not having treats on demand.
We have lots of photos with clutter in the background. Oh well, that’s life!

Happy Sunday Sweet Lily Olivia – so sorry that Fiona is under the weather – both of our parents are too – should we share our kitty treats with them?
Those are some meowvelous whiskers Lady Olivia. You sure take one fine selfie!
This is such a lovely selfie, Lily Olivia! You sure do have stunning whiskers, not to mention that adorable expression on your face. We’re still sending lots of purrs and prayers to Fiona, but we are glad to hear that everyone is enjoying the extra treats. Purrs!

Lily Olivia we look just like that when we’re waiting for our treats too.
Great selfie and fabulous whiskers.
You have great whiskers! We don’t have any whiskers, so we find them fascinating on other cats!
Lily Olivia, you are gorgeous and you don’t look at all grumpy.
Lily Olivia, that’s a beautiful selfie. You do have great whiskers. We continue to purr for Fiona.

Dear L.O.-MEOWVELOUS, with that poignant, disillusioned look you could well be commenting on the POLITICAL SCENE this year!
We like your selfie!
Purrs xx

Those are lovely whiskers and you are right to not want to cut them out of your selfie. MOL! Sammy is right and we are bookends again, but I am usually#13 and he is #14. Must be the hour you all lost!
I think that’s a wonderful selfie which beautifully shows off your whiskerage AND your pretty face! I went with the “Irish” look this week since St. Pat’s is coming! I can’t believe I beat my fellow ginger boy Flynn to posting today but purrrhaps he will be next and we’ll be “ginger bookends” again! Have a MEOWVELOUS Sunday KB Crew!
Love, Sammy
Nice selfie, Lily Olivia!

Lily Olivia, you did brilliantly with your selfie. We love those “eyebrows” of yours! 🙂
We are sorry Fiona’s been sick, too, but happy you’re all getting some side benefits/treats. Silver lining, for sure.
