Feline/Friendship Friday
We have had day after day of grey and gloomy skies and what seems like endless rain. Sawyer is displaying exactly how Kitties Blue deal with this type of weather. To be completely honest, I have had more than a few naps myself. What do you do when the day is gloomy and rainy?
Anyhoo, Sawyer is here to participate in the Feline and Friendship Friday blog hops at Comedy Plus and Create With Joy, respectively. Click on the appropriate link(s) to join Sawyer.
Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #213
On Fridays I try to participate to the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Fuhrballs). It’s a great way to let our fellow bloggers know a bit more about ourselves. You can find the sentences to be filled in on both blogs on Thursdays.
I used teal italics for my fill-ins. Explanatory info is in parentheses.
1. I wouldn’t mind being stuck in an elevator with Hugh Jackman. (I know Ellen is going to say Nicholas Cage!)
2. Now that the formula shortage is fixed, I wish something could be done about the cat food shortage.
3. If I had to sum up my life in one sentence, it would read as follows: I have been blessed with a great husband, great friends, wonderful, furry companions and many opportunities to travel to foreign places.
4. Checking into a hotel, going to my room and finding it already occupied by a nice looking man about my age is an awkward situation in which I once found myself. (I returned to the lobby and was given a different room.)
To join this hop, click on the Fill-Ins badge.
Kitties Blue and I will look forward to seeing you again tomorrow when we will share some Caturday Art.
The best time to get a kitten is typically around 8 weeks of age. At this age, they are old enough to have had all of their vaccinations and be able to go home with you, but they are still young enough to be easily bonded with and trained.
Cats have the art of napping down pat! Lovely photo of Sawyer!
We have days of endless rain- but I won’t complain a bit- it’s better than hot scorching days! Cheers!
Napping are a good way to spend a gray day.
Being lazy, getting some chores done, and reading blogs is how I pass time when the weather is inclement!
Oh, dear your #4 must have been the maker of very red faces…but now you can laugh about it!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers-especially #3. And you know me so well 🙂 Have a great weekend. XO
You look mighty cozy Sawyer! Good answers, MOL to #4!
Napping on gloomy and rainy days is a good thing.
Love your fill-ins and #4 made me laugh out loud. How embarrassing for the both of you.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥
LOL on #4! I’ve had people try to get IN my hotel room, but never the opposite. The pups sleep a lot on rainy days, but can’t say it’s more than usual. I think it would be different if they could really use laptops or cell phones!!
Dear Sawyer,
I would love to be there napping with you!!!!
Great fill-in answers. We had the same for #2 and can’t imagine #4!!!!
Love and whisker kisses,
Noelle
I had the opposite thing happen to me one time. I was in my hotel room and some man walked in on me (fortunately I was just sitting there). He was given the wrong room at check in. ~the mom
Egads, how embarassing to walk into an already occupied hotel room!
Whoops!
Mmm, thinking seriously ’bout No. 4. If’n it happened this weekend, might consider staying in that room ……………….
Too many wet days make us gloomy too, but I don’t mind a few. But only if they come without wind. Sawyer looks nice and cozy!
We’re with you on the weather woes. Very tired of WET and WIND. Today more of the same with a flood watch on top of that. Naps are the best way to spend time these days. I think everyone is tired of pet food shortages – it’s tough. I love your #3. Happy Friday (in site of the rain!).
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
Wait a minute. YOU CHANGED ROOMS? Jeez….(if you were married already, just kidding, if not, just kidding, haha).
That is a sweet picture of Sawyer. We have lovely weather again after a couple of wet days.
