Feline Friday
Audrey and Kizmet, who were enjoying another warm day in the sun on the catio, are joining the Feline Friday blog hop at messymimi’s meanderings. To participate click on the Feline Friday badge.
Friendly Fill-Ins
Time again to let you know a bit more about Kitties Blue and myself by completing the weekly fill-ins. Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). On Thursday they each select two sentences to be filled in by hop participants, and you can find those on both blogs. Enter the hop by clicking on the graphic.
Amazingly, I did not need any help from Kitties Blue this week. I completed all the fill-ins myself. I used teal italics for filling in. Additional information is in parentheses.
1. An item discontinued that I want brought back is Toll House Choco Bake Pre-Melted Unsweetened Chocolate. (It was the best for making wonderfully moist chocolate cakes.)
2. I would eat apricot pie every day if I could. (Unfortunately, I don’t know anyplace outside of California where I can get it.)
3. It’s almost time for spring, and I can’t wait. (It actually seems to have arrived early! Do you see those eaves on the tree in the above photo? And if you read yesterday’s post, you know that my yard has daffodils and crocus blooming as well.)
4. The 1960s were the good old days. (Especially the music!)
Thanks for joining us again today. We’ll be back tomorrow with some Caturday Art. Hope to see you again then.
Such a lovely image!
Wonderful sunny photo! Cheers!
You two look purrfectly framed up there. Those were good answers, our Dad says he agrees with the 60s.
That’s a purrfect place to sit and enjoy the sun! The weather is great here in NCaroliney and looks wonderful where you are too! XO
That’s a grand place to sit in the sun.
I’ve never had apricot pie, but it sounds delicious.
Thanks for joining Feline Friday!
Those are lovely photos of them both enjoying the sun.

Cute photo. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I love music from the 60’s too. I have never had apricot pie, but I would love to try it. XO
I bet that sunshine feels good.
We love that photo and are jealous that you have a Catio! Mom says it’s way too hot for us anyway. We liked your fill-ins. The 60s were great.
Ugh….good help is hard to get. Mom forgot to send my love and whisker kisses to Sawyer!!
Audrey and Kismet are looking young, healthy and full of vigor! Mom said she got her things fertilized day before yesterday and the rain came for all morning yesterday! So the fertilizer was watered into the ground. She counted on the rain to do that and save adding to the water bill. IT got up to 82 yesterday and the a/c kicked on early afternoon and kept on till we went to bed.
Yes, the 60’s were great (except for things like the Cuban crisis.) And the music was the best, so upbeat and fun to dance to still.
Apricot pie? Mmmmm. Love apricots, and sounds delicious!
Pawsome picture of cats in the sun.
A purrfect place to enjoy the heat 🙂
Purrs, Julie
Always nice to see two gorgeous girls sunning themselves on the catio! Mom says she loves your fill-ins Miss Janet…….the 60s were a rather amazing time for my Mom too.
Hugs, Teddy
My favorite time of years gone by were from about 1958-1964…I started kindergarten, and went through grade 5, at the same school, with the same girlfriends…then we moved away…the next years through highschool, were good, too…but quite different! Life was mostly uncomplicated…and we had time to do things together as family, along with friends a lot of the time.
Nice picture of your sun lovers!
Beautiful sunny picture of Audrey and Kizmet! Agree about the 60s and the music of that time!
