Caturday Art
I tried to catch a photo of our adventurous youngsters (Sawyer and Cooper Murphy) on the catio when I saw this surprising sight—Cooper Murphy on the top perch. He normally does not venture up that far, as the perch is smaller and narrower than the others. It seems he’s learned some new moves from Sawyer.
Unfortunately, by not putting on the flash, the photo was back-lit to the extent that Sawyer (looking up at Cooper Murphy) and Coop came out as silhouettes. Rather than deleting the photo, I decided to use it for today’s Caturday Art.
I used Painnt to create the art, and ended up with two versions of the same photo. I was unable to decide which I liked best, so I am sharing both.
This first version was created with an effect called Bacteria. The frame, also from Painnt, is named, Patinated.
For this second version, I used the Butterfly Wings effect. I used Picasa to add the frame.
Cooper Murphy and Sawyer would like to know which version you like best.

Sunday Selfies Reminder
We know this is a three-day weekend and many of you will be celebrating with family and friends, but we’ll still be looking for you on the blog hop. If you get those selfies taken now, you’ll have all day tomorrow to take your easy as well as have some fun. Looking forward to seeing your sweet and smiling faces.
The decision is hard! I like the pretty colours in the first one, but the second one is quite sophisticated and interesting. Hmmm, I think I will vote for Number two!
They’re both beautiful!!!
We had some weird cat behaviors recently too, but they seem to have ironed out. I hope yours do too!
Many of my ‘blooper’ photos are used for making art too!
They both look great but we like the second best.

They are both beautiful. I like the bacteria effect best.
Wow, this is the perfect case of doing wonders with what you think is a not good pictures. WELL DONE YOU.
Very pretty art! We like the first one best.
We like them both! Mom says she needs a shot of me with my mouth open and fangs showing and use that “bacteria” effect!
Hee! Hee! I agree!

We hope you are all having a wonderful start to your holiday weekend. We just love the gorgeous artwork that you share. Thanks for sharing it with us for Caturday art day.
Both pictures turned out beautifully – but we like the first one best.
Really cool art, we like both effects ! Purrs
We like them both but like the first one best.
Noelle says hi to Sawyer….she thinks he is handsome no matter what effect you use and even better in the furs!! She also says she wants him to EAT!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle.
Way to go boys! I kind of like the second one the best!
Wow, we love both effects today. We give an ever so slight nod to the first one … the way the colors pop is great!
Yay Coop! Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Both photos are super cool but I think I like the second one……maybe it’s because Mom has said “bacteria is not good” and I can’t get that out of my head? I’m sure she isn’t talking about photo effects though!!!!
Hugs, Teddy
I like both effects. Usually I go for more colour, but this time I like the second one the best.
