Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #125
Each Friday we join Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs) for fill-ins. It’s an opportunity for participants to share a bit about themselves as well as learn about their fellow bloggers. Ellen and Lorianne each select two sentences to be completed and post them on their blogs on Thursday.
This is a blog hop. To join, click on the fill-ins badge.
My completions are in teal italics.
1. My favorite font is Comic Sans followed by Bradley Hand.
2. October is perfect for finishing my Christmas shopping. I always used to be finished in August, but I’ve been slacking off the past few years.
3. Where I live is too hot and humid for me and becomes more so with each passing year. It was 88 degrees here yesterday.
4. I feel very sad that it is getting dark earlier and earlier this time of year.
Feline Friday
In order to join the blog hop at Comedy Plus, I am sharing a photo of Cooper Murphy. He was on the catio bathing when I surprised him.

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answers are fantastic. I am very close to being done with my Christmas shopping, but I have to agree with you – it’s just too hot and humid to be in the holiday spirit yet. At least when it does finally feel like Christmas out there, the shopping will be done and it will time to relax and enjoy the season.
Claire is so happy ! She’s just like you, thinking of Christmas stuff middle of Summer ! You’re not alone, MOL ! Purrs
Cute shot of Cooper Murphy. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Sorry your weather hasn’t cooled off yet. That is impressive about your Christmas shopping. I used to be at least part way done by now, but this year i haven’t gotten anything yet. Have a nice weekend! XO
TW heard you on #4. She hates the shorter days. Aunt Pauline used to have all her Christmas presents wrapped and hidden by the end of July. Not anymore.
Cooper Murphy,
That’s a sweet catio you have. Ours has to be portable because we get lots of snow where we live and there is NO WAY we’re going out in that cold stuff!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Oliver
Cooper Murphy, there’s no escaping the momarazzi! Our mommy doesn’t do early Christmas shopping because she’d never remember what she got for who and where she put it! MOL!
You are handsome whatever you are doing, Cooper Murphy. I don’t like the dark evenings either.
Its hard to find a private spot sometimes isn’t it, Cooper Murphy?? MOL!
I know our peeps hate the early darkness too…
Cooper Murphy, it just doesn’t end, does it? No cat has privacy when they live with a blogger! LOL!
Cooper Murphy, you are giving us quite the show! 😉 We’re sad about the days becoming shorter too…we wish it would stay lighter longer.
Omigosh, you’re one of THOSE people! LOL! August/October Christmas shopping. Shame on you! Of course, you probably find much better deals! I can’t believe your temps are so much hotter and more humid than ours being further north. But, then, we are in the “mountains.” Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Cooper looks comfy anyway! 😉
Mom said when she came home from Wally World yesterday that they have Christmas decorations out since September. She thinks that stinks. Most other places have followed suit.
I don’t like that the days are getting shorter either. I love it when it gets dark after 9pm. Oh well.
Cooper Murphy is my favorite kitty. You can tell him, but don’t tell the others.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peep. ♥
We are not fans of the early dark either!
We usually get our Christmas shopping done early but this year we are lagging behind.
Cooper has a wonderful spot to take a bath! My Mom always says she wishes she had her camera handy when I’m doing my “clean-up” but most of the time she doesn’t – thank heavens. Some things should be done in private – – – – right Cooper??????
Hugs, Teddy
