Awww Mondays
Kizmet is always the first to claim the toys from the Cat Lady Box when it arrives. Yesterday, I actually gave Sawyer the first toy out of the box, and Kizmet had to be content with toy number two. She pounced on it even before the cardboard tag could be removed. Dad Tom caught her in a tongue-out, bunny-kicking, “awww” moment in this photo.
Kizmet is participating in the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus.
On Wordless Wednesday, I will share a photo of Sawyer with his new toy.
Sparks
I am not certain what prompted me to select this Spark, but it does mean a great deal to me. My parents were not the givers of unconventional love. Thankfully I had the most caring, loving and giving paternal grandparents. That truly was a gift, and I have always been grateful to have had them in my life!
I previously shared a Spark about unconditional love last August after Cooper Murphy bit me. If you missed it, you can read it here.
I was unfamilar with the author of today’s Spark and thought you might be as well. Brian Tracy is a 78-year-old Canadian-American, motivational, public speaker and self-development author. He is the author of over eighty books, which have been translated into dozens of languages. His most popular books are Earn What You’re Really Worth, Eat That Frog! and No Excuses!.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Tomorrow is our favorite day of the week, as it’s when Periwinkle and Stinky share an adventure. It’s Periwinkle’s turn to plan the event, so you’ll want to check out Friends Furever tomorrow to find out what our tabbies get up to. These two youngsters have lots of fun when they are together and love sharing their adventures with all of you. So please join them!

When kitties do the bunny kick, it makes us human grin!
That’s a wonderful SPARK…….I grew up with love but it was not really unconditional. I had rules and no “wiggle room” but yet I did learn what love was and wasn’t. It took me a while to recognize it when I was on my own. We all find our way! Glad your grandparents showed you the REAL thing. I also hope you have a fabulously SPECIAL DAY!
Love, Pam (and Teddy too)
I’m sorry that you did not have loving parents. But at least they had you and that was the best!
