Friendly Fill-Ins: Week # 139
Friendly Fill-Ins is a fun way to learn a little more about your fellow bloggers. My fill-ins are in teal italics.
1. Better to be early than late (no matter the occasion).
2. Don’t say, “yes,” to something you don’t want to do just because you don’t want to disappoint somebody. You’ll regret it.
3. You couldn’t pay me to try to clip Sawyer’s claws.
4. Dark Chocolate Peanut M&Ms is my comfort food.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). You can find the sentences to be completed on their blogs each Thursday. To enter the hop, click on the badge below to go to Lorianne’s blog.
Feline Friday
Sawyer is popping over to Comedy Plus to enter their Feline Friday blog hop. You can go there by clipping on the badge below.
Your fill-ins are always fantastic! I completely agree with your #1. The saying “better late than never” bothers me, because though sometimes being late is better than never showing up at all, it’s still not an ideal situation. And I really appreciate your answer to #2. Learning to politely say “no” to things I don’t want to do is something I sometimes struggle with, but it’s also something I am working on. And are you saying that Sawyer could be anything but innocent? Just look at that angelic face! And, now I’m craving some dark chocolate peanut M&Ms. I am a huge fan of dark chocolate. Purrs to all!
It is usually much better to be early to anything. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese. I think I prefer cheese to worms, but I still like to be early. Have a blessed day.
Claw clipping is not a favored task around here, either. 🙂
Sawyer looks so sweet and snuggly in that photo.
Have a blessed weekend!
HAH to #3! Not even my vet wants to trim my claws. TW says amen to #2 also.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Sawyer does look very innocent. I need to get some of those m&m’s for my hubby. Have a nice weekend! XO
They do look so sweet while they sleep …
Bear’s really become a bear about the claw clipping thing. He used to fight me – but now it comes complete with an iron jaw lock on my arm, hissy fit, and tons of drama. It just hit me that this started when we adopted Ellie. Maybe he’s putting on a show?
Sawyer, we don’t like our nails clipped either!
Sawyer looks so sweet there. Eric never had his claws trimmed and Flynn didn’t until he was 15 or 16. I expected a struggle but he just laid there and let me do it.
The Hubby trimmed Angel and Chuck’s nails from when they were kittens, but Manny and CB were already 2 years old when we adopted them. They do NOT like nail trims, but with two humans (and four thumbs) we can get it done. However, The Hubby has become a total softie with Da Boyz, and he doesn’t want to do anything that might offend them…so he’s not trimming their nails. Easy of him, ’cause he wears blue jeans all of the time, but my thin, soft work slacks won’t hold back those sharp claws! Ouchie!
I thought all kitties are innocent? I’m wrong about that? I don’t think so.
Love your answers and I’m with you on the toenails. I’m not doing that either.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
We think you do look seriously innocent Sawyer!
We’ve got some of those “sleepers!” They get their nails done “professionally!” LOL! Very cute photo of Sawyer!
Sawyer looks so sweet and innocent. Noelle does too – when she’s sleeping!!!!
Great Fill-ins!!
The Florida Furkids with bazillion smoochies and tons of love to Mau from Allie
Oh SAWYER! Look how adorable you are!!!
I did fill-ins over at Miss Ellen’s page. Mommy did, anyway.
We know Sawyer has an “inner tiger” – we all do – but gosh he sure looks cozy, sweet and comfy in that photo………I can almost hear him snoring!
Hugs, Teddy
