THANKFULS FROM MAU & MOM

Thankful Thursday

We have a whopper of a thankful this week. Our blogoversary comment-a-thon was a huge success. We received 55 comments. Three of those were a second comment from some who had already commented. That gave us 52 comments and 52 entries in the random drawing for a donation to a rescue/shelter of the winner’s choice. The winner, as selected by Random.org, is The J-Cats. They were commenter #11. I will contact the J-Cats to find out there selection, and Kitties Blue will make a $55 donation. When I find out where Kitties Blue are sending my green papers, I will let everyone know in a future post.

Thankfuls two and three this week come from Mauricio. He’d like to thank everyone who visited and left comments on the anniversary post for Allie (Friends Furever) and himself. And he is grateful for the terrific and thoughtful anniversary gift from Allie.

 

 

Mau always loves Allie’s gifts. After checking out his new bed, he went back to playing with a previous gift she sent him. The stylish bed will look fabulous in our new bedroom.

 

 

Move-In Imminent

After months of stress and nearly endless complaining from me, our addition is on the brink of being completed. If the glass shower surround and door are installed tomorrow as scheduled, we could possibly be sleeping in our new master bedroom this weekend. I am over the moon thankful that this project is coming to an end.

An Apology

I rarely miss writing a poem and joining Thoroughly Poetic Thursday with Two Spoiled Cats. However, my poetry mojo seems to have taken a vacation this week. I was unable to muster any enthusiasm for the inspirational photo. I am hoping that Angel Sammy, Teddy and Mom Pam will accept my apology.
