THANKFULS, A LIMERICK & A BIRTHDAY

Thankful Thursday

This week’s main thankful comes from our two adventurous tabbies, Periwinkle (Friends Furever) and Stinky. They had a terrific time on Tuesday visiting the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden in Springfield, Massachusetts. They’re thankful for the opportunity to share this great adventure with each other but also with a record number of readers. They’d like to invite anyone here today, who missed the adventure, to check it out by clicking here. And here’s a photo from their adventure that they didn’t share on Tuesday.

Sawyer asked to share a huge thankful. He is at 23 days of only having a few focal seizures and no gran mals. This is a new record. He has been better about eating, which is how he gets his medicine. Whether or not this is the reason he’s doing better, we feel so fortunate and happy for him.

Thankful Thursday is a blog hop hosted by Brian. If you’d like to participate, post on your blog for what you are thankful, and then click on Brian’s badge.

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

It’s time for another poetry challenge hosted by Teddy and Angel Sammy (Two Spoiled Cats). This week’s inspiration photo is a doozy.

I really felt sorry for this baby, which made it difficult to write a poem. I didn’t want something sad, so I ended up with a limerick, which I hope no one finds offensive.

There once was a toddler with a chubby butt,
Whose cheeks were as huge as a truck.
When he sat in his tiny wagon
His heinie was a draggin’,
So a strict diet became a must.

If you’d like to write a poem for next week, check out Two Spoiled Cats by clicking on their badge to find next week’s photo. And don’t forget to read Angel Sammy’s poem. He transmits it to Teddy each week from the Rainbow Bridge, and he is a terrific poet. His poems are always a must read.

Happy Birthday Teddy

Our dear friend, Teddy, is celebrating his fifth birthday today, and we send him our best wishes. If you’d like to do the same, click on the poetry badge.
