Thankful Thursday

Thank you friends for your support, love, purrs, prayers and POTP. Love, Sawyer
The amazing streak continues for Sawyer. He is now at 44 days without a gran mal seizure and at least a month without any focal seizures. As long as this trend continues, Sawyer and all the support you have given him will be at the top of our thankful list.
Personally, I am thankful for having the opportunity to share a belated birthday celebration with a dear friend yesterday. We both have had our two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and are several weeks past the second dose, so we were comfortable and so thankful to be able to spend time together and share hugs and kisses.
I am also thankful that Spring is officially here; though, the weather hasn’t been terrific. The yard is filled with daffodils adding swathes of bright yellow happiness. As always, Kitties Blue and I are thankful for the friendship and support of each of you who visit and read this blog.
Sawyer is joining the Thankful Thursday blog hop at Brian’s Home. To do the same, post on your blog for what your are thankful and then click on Brian’s badge.
Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
The Two Spoiled Cats, Angel Sammy and Teddy, provided us with a really fun inspiration photo for this week’s poetry challenge.
I thought such an amusing photo needed an amusing poem, so I went with a limerick again. It is not one of my best, but…
There once was a snowman from Stowe,
who was sick of the cold and the snow.
He packed a bag and went south,
the chance of melting to flout.
Now he’s merely a tiny ice floe!

If you’d like to write some poetry next week, click on the badge below. You’ll be whisked away to Two Spoiled Cats where you will find next week’s inspiration photo as well as Angel Sammy’s poem for this week. He’s a wonderful poet, and his poems are always worth reading.
We’ll see you all again tomorrow for Feline and Friendship Fridays as well as Friendly Fill-Ins.
We are so very glad Sawyers streak continues. Nurse Dad says he thinks getting a bit older has helped a lot but he would never have had the opportunity to do that without all your love and wonderful care even in the face of the stress it caused. You are truly a special family we are so glad to know.
This was a funny photo for Poetic Thursday and although many took the same main idea your made us MOL LOL. Supurr!
Love this special post friends
That is SUCH good news about Sawyer. We send him kitty kissies!
Go Sawyer…go Sawyer…go Sawyer…
Keep the streak going!!
So happy for little Sawyer! Praying that this continues! <3

We enjoyed your post
That really, really is wonderful and we’re so happy for sweet Sawyer and you all and hooray for the vaccines too. Love the poem.
Yay, yay,yay for Sawyer! And your limerick made me smile, too!
Way to go, Sawyer. My son had seizures right after he was born and he was on liquid medication for two years. The doctor said let’s try not giving him the medicine and see what happens as many babies outgrow them. I’m hoping that’s what is happening with Sawyer. We can hope.
Yes on spring. I’m so ready and I’m glad you got to visit with your friend.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to the kitties and a hug to you. ♥
That is a HUGE thankful!!! We’re always happy to hear such good and amazing news!!!
We liked your limerick!
The Florida Furkids with paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle who is ready to teleport over to the catio!
Words can’t adequately express how happy we are about Sawyer’s “winning streak” and we PRAY every day it continues. That’s a great photo of him out on the catio looking RIGHT at the camera! Love your limerick for the silly snowman photo. We thought it would make for some fun poems and it surely is – thanks for joining us.
Hugs, Teddy and Mom too
That is such a miracle for Sawyer!! Amazing and wonderful!
Yes, we here will keep up the pawyers and POTP for him.
I loved your limerick!
How sweet that you could have a good and normal kind of visit with your friend.
