THANKFUL FOR 23 DAYS

by Janet Blue on January 23, 2020

Oopsie…I sure messed up and forgot to schedule this. It should have come out at midnight.

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

Each Thursday, Mom Pam (Two Spoiled Cats) posts a photo to serve as inspiration for a poem to be posted on our blogs the following Thursday. Here’s today’s photo. The photo didn’t really “speak” to me, except to give me a queasy stomach. So, I have a brief poem.

Toy Boat

I’m a Pisces; I like water
But not this much
And not this violent.
Toy boats in the bathtub
Are more to my liking.

While visiting Teddy and Angel Sammy, make certain you read Sammy’s poem. He transmits it to Teddy from the Rainbow Bridge, and he is a masterful poet. You’ll also find links in the Comments section to poems by other bloggers.

Thankful Thursday

The two tabby adventurers, Stinky and Periwinkle, are thankful for a great adventure yesterday in their crossover post with the Two Spoiled Cats’ Tuesday Teaser. They are even more thankful for all the visitors they had on their adventure post. They are looking forward to those who hadn’t read any of their previous adventures joining them every Tuesday. Next week you can find them at Friends Furever.

Sawyer had a seizure Wednesday morning. Obviously, Dad Tom and I are not thankful for that. But we are grateful that it had been 23 days since his last one. That seems like a miracle. Twice he went 21 days between seizures, but 23 days is a new record. We are thankful for all the POTP and prayers so many of you send him.

As we are every week, Kitties Blue and I are grateful to all of you who follow and support us.

Thankful Thursday is a blog hop hosted by Brian. To join, post on your blog for what you are thankful. Then, click the badge below to hop over to Brian’s and enter the link to you post.

I love the poem. I’ve been in some bad water, but not in a boat that sea worthy. It’s scary for sure.

Way to go on the new 23 day record. Sawyer is always in my prayers.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all the kitties (especially Sawyer) and a big hug to the mom. ♥

I agree, that sea is very rough and not an enjoyable trip.
I am glad that Sawyer has a new record for time between seizures, and it gets longer each time.

MOL we were hoping to be First!!!
As always, we purr and pray for fewer and less violent seizures for Sawyer. We love him so much. Periwinkle had a super time on their adventure. She hopes Stinky likes what she has planned for next week.

Yay for so long between seizures for our little buddy Sawyer – We hope it remains FAR between. We like your poem a lot – while my Mom and Dad enjoy being on the water I myself would prefer a toy boat in a tub too!!!

Hugs, Teddy
