Audrey and Raleigh have discovered Christmas trees can be fun. We have three: a four-foot tree in remembrance of our angel, Twinkle; a seven-and-a-half-foot, which has unbreakable ornaments; and a nine-foot where I hang all the breakable ornaments. Kitties Blue have access to the first two only. They have not bothered Twinkle’s tree but have been playing with the ornaments on the other tree to which they have access. It is only about half decorated with just a few ornaments near the bottom. Nonetheless, they have already removed a few.
Today’s art features Audrey lying beneath the tree prior to my placing any ornaments on it.
As usual, I went back to Painnt to create my art. This is the Salerno effect. I changed the hue from the original and bumped the saturation a few points. I think the Christmas tree turned into some impressionistic poinsettias. That led to the selection of the graphics I used for the border. Those came from piZap.
I did make a puzzle for those of you who enjoy them.
Audrey will be heading over to Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s blog to enter her Caturday Art hop. You can join her there by clicking on Athena’s badge.
Sunday Selfies Reminder
I am both shocked and delighted to report that one of the Kitties Blue has already stepped up and snapped a selfie for tomorrow. I’m not going to reveal which of them it is. You’ll just have to come by and check it out. Of course, the kitties and I hope you’ll join the hop when you visit and share your selfie with us and all your other friends.
We’ll be looking for you right here tomorrow. Have a great Caturday.
That’s a really Christmassy effect. I think we’ll try that one out too to see what we can do. This is our first year with a tree cuz Mom was scared of what we would do with it. Teaghan got one unbreakable ornament down. That was enough for her MOL!
We used to put the girl’s ornaments on the lower third fo the tree.
A few ornaments for cat play seem a great solution.
Lovely art, and i’m off to puzzle…thanks.
We love this art. The colors are purrfect for Christmas!
P.S. we love how you have three trees. 🙂
Beautiful art. I haven’t even attempted to decorate our tree because Rusty is very interested in it. I put a fence around it and he knocked the fence over. Beautiful art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
That is very festive artwork!
Beautiful art! Happy Caturday to all!
That is beautiful. The colors really say Christmas.
That turned out fabulous!!!! Noelle has her paws crossed that Sawyer is the selfie volunteer for tomorrow.
Lovely art and pretty colours.
The cat in the caturday art blog looks just like my Amiga, except lighter, and not resembling a tiger so much.
WOW…..that art effect is fabulous – you can still clearly see a kitty there and the colors and patterns are amazing!!
Oh, MY! Yes pretty candy cane poinsettias!! Or candy cane fluff! Like the kind you get at the fair on a stick!
Its very prety.
Now that is truly beautiful art. Love all those apps and mama may have to acquire a couple herself and have some fun. Wonderful colors.
That is so pretty! Just love it!
