Sparks
After the recent disasters and deaths in the midwest from the tornadoes, I felt those of us more fortunate needed a reminder to choose happiness.
Dad Tom took this sunrise photo of Mount LeConte in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee.
The author of today’s Spark, Lynda Resnick, is a 77-year-old, American billionaire and philanthropist.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Our two little, tabby adventurers will be sharing a new adventure tomorrow over at Friends Furever. They both have their paws crossed you will take a few minutes out of your day to join in the fun.
I have learned huge knowledge from here. I am waiting for your updates
That’s such a beautiful photo, and your spark is so, so true. We can’t even imagine what those folks in those areas hit by the tornadoes are going through.
My momma tries to choose happiness. It’s not always easy (or possible), but at least you can try.
First, I LOVE the photo and what a purrfect Spark! This quote was very important to me 2 years ago when I moved back here to take care of my husband! I may print it and put it on my affirmation wall because the photo is so perfect! Thanks so much for your Spark today. Barb
A beautiful Spark with that super pretty photo!
That is a beautiful spark. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the tornadoes. XO
What a gorgeous photo! I am purring for all those affected by the tornadoes. ~Ernie
Wonderful Spark as always.
Horrible tornadoes. Scary and prayers for all those affected.
Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥
Excellent Spark. Mom agrees that the way you start your day can influence how it goes. Mom has an affirmation that comes up every day on her phone so she sees it first thing. We are so sad for all the victims of those storms.
Dad Tom’s photo is wonderful.
Dopey Mom did it again, she hit submit before I could send love and whisker kisses to Sawyer!!!!

The storms and tornadoes are terrible. We had storms a week ago with 95mph wind gusts, but I can’t imagine what those poor people are going through.
Horrible storms…..the weather is very scary anymore – we know there were a lot of deaths, injuries and loss of homes and other property and at the WORST possible time too – when the world is hoping for some Christmas happiness. We pray for all involved…… We have had only a few “rough days” of weather – so far blessed with mild winter and it’s not even really winter yet! Your SPARK is right – we can choose to have a good day or a bad day – much of that is just attitude in spite of circumstances sometimes. My Mom and I choose to be as happy as possible.
Love, Teddy
Those tornadoes were so scary and horrible. We prayed for the victims in our church service today.
After many days of clouds and bad weather, we had a gloriously sunny day here.
