Caturday Art
Unfortunately, today’s art for Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s Caturday Art blog hop does not contain any cats. Regardless, I like it and hope you will as well.
I used the two pictures below and layered them using PicMonkey. When finished I used Picasa to “boost” the color a bit and add the frame.
The photo on the top is one Dad Tom took of a sunflower growing in our backyard. The picture on the bottom is a sunflower I colored using the Happy Color app.
This is my entry in Athena’s blog hop. To enter art of your own or find links to the art of others, click on Athena’s badge.
Sunday Selfies Reminder
Please join us tomorrow as we honor and remember the gorgeous and feisty tortie, Binga, from SparkleCat. Summer is always here with her glamorous selfie, but we cannot let the passing of her constant photo bomber go unnoticed. Binga was one of my favorite kitties of the blogosphere, and I never saw enough of her. I know you most likely have left your condolences for her human, Janiss, on the SparkleCat blog. Nonetheless, I hope you will join us here tomorrow.
And don’t forget to get your selfie snapped so you can join us on the hop.

I love sunflowers! I’ve always wanted to plant a whole field of them. I would need to buy a field though …

Love the artwork – sunflowers always make my Mom smile! She remembers seeing fields full of them in her travels.

Those are lovely sunflowers! We have a lot of those in our yard, volunteers from the feeders, MOL! I like how you juxtapositioned them on top of eachother for that cool effect!
A squirrel tried to use one to gain access to the feeders, but it just kept bending so he fell off, over and over, what a fun way to spend some time watching the critter channel with PIpo & the pups….who of course had to get out there and chase the rascal away,MOL!
