Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #223
Fridays mean Fill-Ins. It is an opportunity for us to get to know our fellow bloggers a bit better. It is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They each select two sentence for us to complete. You can find the sentences on their blogs each Thursday.
Here are this week’s sentences and my fill-ins, which are in teal italics.
1. Having Sawyer as a member of our fur family and taking care of him is a privilege.
2. I was so embarrassed when I was a kid and got sick at the movies. I didn’t make it to the restroom and threw up all over the lobby.
3. I can’t help but smile when Sawyer decides he is going to sleep next to me at night. (When he does sleep with us, he usually prefers snuggling with his dad.)
4. Violence in the U.S. has gotten out of hand.

Feline/Friendship Friday – Stink Eye
Sawyer was a bit ticked-off at his dad for taking him to the vet yesterday. Regardless, he was on his very best behavior. He is always quiet in the car and was yesterday. He does, however, have a reputation for being a PTU pooper. But no poop yesterday. And, according to the vet, he was a perfect gentleman, allowing her to give him an exam, draw his blood and trim his claws. Wow…is our little guy mellowing?
Even more amazing than Sawyer’s good behavior is what Dr. Neel did for him and us. She went to the office yesterday morning to discuss Sawyer with the vet he was scheduled to see. When dad Tom thanked her on facebook, she responded, “Sawyer is a special cat.” We are so blessed to have her as an advocate even after she has retired.
We will get the results of his blood work later today.
Sawyer will be joining the Feline Friday blog hop at Comedy Plus and the Friendship Friday blog hop at Create With Joy.
Sawyer is special. Thanks for sharing him with us!

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I agree about all the violence, it is out of control. I am glad Sawyer’s visit went well and not poops 🙂 XO

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to all the kitties and special healing hugs to Sawyer. Big hug to mom. ♥
It seems that the whole world…at least what we see on TV…is that everyone is for themselves right now.
A good leader would pull us all together, imho.
In the meantime, each of us must continue to follow the golden rule.
