Friendly Fill-ins: Week #153
For Good Friday, Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs), have provided us with a couple of Easter-themed fill-ins. My completions are in teal italics.
1. An Easter memory that I have is of my first Easter after moving from California to Kansas City, Missouri. It was 1974. It snowed.
2. I hope to purchase nothing more this year, as I have already spent too much on various items needed for our addition.
3. When the days are warm, I like to go swimming.
4. If the Easter Bunny visited my house, he’d be surrounded by eight cats looking for treats or a nice bunny rabbit lunch.
Each Thursday, Ellen and Lorianne post four sentences with blanks to be filled in. Participants complete the sentences, and we post them on Friday. The blog hop takes place at Four-Legged Furballs. Click on the badge above to go there.
Feline Friday
Kitties Blue also like to join the Feline Friday blog hop at Comedy Plus. Today Lisbeth is in the spotlight as she enjoys a sunny afternoon on the catio. To join the hop, click on the badge below.
Lovely Spring picture of Lisbeth ! Purrs
You are a beauty Lizbeth. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. We have had snow on Easter in Massachusetts 🙂 The Easter bunny would be in for a big surprise at your house and mine. Have a wonderful Easter. XO
What a lovely picture of Lizbeth.
Lisbeth is such a cutie! As a child, I remember wearing my cute Easter dress, only to have to bundle up in a winter coat, hat, and mittens to go outside! In one photo, when my grandparents were visiting, I refused to wear my coat so I’d be photographed in my dress, but it was so cold! I recall shivering and shivering.
Those were great answers and a very pretty photo sweet Lisbeth!
MOL every Easter Dad would tell Mom about the year it snowed in KC!! Great Fill-in answers. Lisbeth, you look lovely!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
Oh it looks delightful on your sunny catio Lisbeth! Lucky you getting to enjoy being OUT without being in danger. Having a catio is PURRFECT! Hope you all have a lovely Easter – we will have a WET one I’m afraid. Still, the Easter Bunny has a raincoat so he will be fine. Great filling in from your Mom today!
Hugs, Teddy
Lookin’ good, Lisbeth! I didn’t know you had lived in Kansas City at one point! Though you might not know that I lived in Virginia for a year! These days, the world is much smaller than it used to be.
