Sunday Selfies: Week #229
I love to play springs, and so I am certain I have one with me at all times. MOL! I look so cute, I decided to take a selfie to share with you.
The only bad thing about this photo is my left front leg. You can see where they shaved off my furs at the Emergency Vet. Didn’t they know it is winter, and I need my furs?
Computer Woes Continue
I am coming to you today from Dad Tom’s laptop. Mom got a call Caturday morning that she would not be getting her laptop back from the repair shop until Monday at noon. Needless to say, she is not a happy camper, as it was supposed to be ready in three to four hours from the time she dropped it off Friday morning. Currently she is consoling herself with dark chocolate, peanut M&Ms. She certainly better be planning on riding that Peloton-thingie later.
Let’s Hop
Enough about Mom’s problems. Let’s get our hopping on for the final time in 2018! If you are new to hopping or to our blog hop, here are those stoopy pointers we are forced to post each week by “you know who.”
- The link to add your selfie to the hop is below.
- You also will find below the code to use if you’d like the hop to appear on your blog.
- Posting on Sundays is not necessary to join.
- You do not need to be a cat to enter. All anipals are welcome regardless of species.
- The hop remains open for entries through Thursday midnight.
- Please be so kind as to display our badge and/or link to The Cat on My Head.
- Take the opportunity to visit some of the other hop-alongs and make some new friends or reconnect with some old ones.
Appreciation & Thanks
I want to let everyone know once again how grateful I am for your love, support, purrs, prayers and POTP. Since adding the Keppra to my other two medications, I have not had a seizure. That’s ten whole days seizure free.
Mom, I and all the Kitties Blue also thank each of you who joined the Sunday Selfies blog hop in 2018. We realize participants have dwindled from what they once were, but it still remains popular, and we will continue bringing it to you in 2019.
Mom says we’ll see you tomorrow for New Year’s Eve with our final Spark of 2018. Until then…
Purrs and paw-pats, Sawyer
I say, Petcretary, please find my springs back! I loved those but they are all hiding somewhere!
Love your selfie, and we are so happy that you are doing so well on your new med regime. Your leg is like your badge of honor:)
nice selfie. Our post link is in. Happy Mew Year.
Daisy Mae And Crystal
That will be one of my wishes for 2019 — that you remain seizure free, my furr-iend. Hugs, tummy tickles and tail wiggles. Thanks so much for being such gracious blog hop hosts!
You look absolutely adorable, Sawyer. Continuing to send purrs your way!

Sawyer is a handsome mancat with our without his furs. They will grown back.
Sorry about the ongoing issues with your computer. Hope they get resolved soon.

Dezi and Raena
Sawyer, I love that you carry your spring with you! “Have Spring, Will Travel”!
Manny and CB LOVE their springs, and so far, The Hubby and I have only stepped on one enough to bust it to heck.
Sawyer, you look fetching my friend. I may have a boyfriend but I know good lookin’ when I see it. The Keppra seems to be doing the trick for you. Let’s all think positive that the seizure 10 days will be the last. 2019 will see a new Sawyer….one that is seizure free. Yes!!
Thanks must go out to your mom for putting on Sunday Selfies for so long. Attendance will come and go depending on what’s happening in folks personal lives as I’m sure you must know.
Hugs to all,
Shoko
That is a lovely selfie, Sawyer. I am glad the Keppra is helping you stay seizure free. You are lucky that you only got your leg shaved. Every time Flynn went they shaved his neck! It was okay though because Miss Ellen knitted him a scarf to keep warm in the winter.
It’s so nice to see you, Sawyer ! We’re glad to hear you are seizure free, we hope it goes on like this ! Purrs
Hi Sawyer, it’s nice to meet you! I am sorry I’ve not introduced myself before, but I have been detained by a stubborn affiliate typist against my will for it seems like forever!!! Anyway I just want to thank you guys for your lovely Christmas card! I was bowled over to say the least and very chuffed! Hi5s to you, buddy from Austin the Tux PeeEss I am glad those horrible seizures have stopped!! x
We are so glad to hear you are seizure free paws crossed it stays that way. ~ATCAD
Sawyer, you are lucky you are only missing a tiny bit of fur on your leg. I am missing a HUGE area of fur on my side. ~Chimera
You are such a cutie. That is a great selfie. I also like your Polish pottery collection behind you 🙂 XO
Sawyer we are all hopping with Joy that you have not had a seizure in sooo long. We will keep those purrs and prayers coming my friend. We also want to that your fabulouse family for the great Christmas Cheer you brought to us all. Love you all so much.
Dad is finally almost through Re-Tire. Tomorrow is his last day. He has been really stressed looking at his 401k and fighting with his company to get simple things done. *Sigh* Thank You All for being our dearest friends
Timmy, Dad and Family
Plain and simple:
THANK YOU … thank you Janet,
thank you “kitties blue”!
Sawyer, dear furiend, that is an ingenious way to keep one’s favorite toy close! Alas, I don’t wear a collar (only have a necklace and some harnesses)…. I’m thinking my necklace is too elegant to hook my nanner to (my purrsonal favorite toy), so I’m looking into the possibilities offered by a harness.
Happy New Year & may 2019 be your best year, so far!
Purrseidon
Sawyer, what a great way to keep those springs near you ready for play! That’s a cute selfie.
Dark chocolate makes everything better, hope she gets her computer back tomorrow!! Lovely selfie!
That’s wonderful news Sawyer and your photo is so darn good! We hope the computer gets home soon.
Dear Sawyer, we are purring and praying that the new med combo is the one that will do the trick for you.
We never had springs but Allie is going to share the ones Mau sent her with all of us!!
The Florida Furkids
Sawyer I love your “spring bling” on your collar! You know I’m a BIG spring fan myself. I could not be happier if I tried that you are ten days seizure-free AND that your new medication is working. Here’s to a seizure free new year little buddy……that’s what I’m wishing for!!
Hugs, Teddy
That is a very cute selfie of you, Sawyer! I hope your human’s computer doesn’t have any more delays!
Sawyer, sweetheart! We purrobably would not have noticed your shaved furs, if you hadn’t mentioned it. We were so completely mesmerised by your beautiful eyes.
Don’t worry. Your furs will grow back before you know it!
The most impawtant thing is that your new meds seem to be working and keeping you seizure-free.
Purrs,
Trixie, Caspurr and Shimshi (and Mummy Shimona)
Young Sawyer,
We agree with Master Marv. Had you not mentioned your tiny little shaved patch, we would never even have noticed. Your ‘sweet and gentle face’ says Mum is distraction enough. I think that being seizure free is ‘epic’ to quote our friend Bionic Basil, and I know it will hearten your family. Well done.
Please pass on our sympathies to your Mum about the computer. Our Mum has a large iMac and if it ever died she could not cope on a laptop well, not for long, she says.
This is great news that you are doing better.we shall keep the prayers going for it to continue Sawyer,Great job with the Selfie,xx Speedy
Nice selfie, Sawyer, and we like a mancat that is practical with his springs. Have you thought about a device for carrying mice? Sounds like you getting your staff into fitness mode. Around here, one ride with Mrs H into the village is enough for a whole month!
We hope yours isn’t quite as adventurous and perilous as ours.
Purrs

Sawyer! Buddy! If you had not said anythung, I would not have noticed the shave. You are looking particularly cuddly today! At least that is what my Mom says. And we shall keep you in out purrayers. We are so glad you have been seizure free with your new meds.
Have a easy Sunday guys!
Purrs
Marv
Sawyer, you sure are looking handsome, buddy. And we’re so glad you’re doing well these past 10 days on your new meds! Purring that the trend continues!
Thank you for having the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. We love participating, and as long as you host it, we will be a part of it. 🙂
Hugs!
