Sparks
After the difficulties with yesterday’s post and the hours I spent trying to correct it (to no avail), I think it will be evident to all of you why I selected the quote I did for my Spark.
Ralph Marston was a football player who attended Boston University. He spent a season as a professional in the National Football League with the Boston Bulldogs in 1929 as a quarterback.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
Madi’s Blog Hop
Madi(son) D. Cat (Down Home in N.C.) received her angel wings on September 13 and traveled to the Rainbow bridge. To honor and remember her, her boyfriend, Raz (Friends Furever), has organized a special tribute blog hop for Madi. It will be held Wednesday, September 26. If you’d like to participate, create a post remembering Madi. Make certain to include her favorite color, red, and try to make your fellow bloggers and Madi’s family and friends smile. You can write a poem or haiku, take a photo of yourself doing a bit of boxing (Mau covered that today) and hop aboard the Come Laugh with Us Blog Hop! Don’t forget to visit Raz for more information.
The Blog Hop is set up here if you would like to pre-post. Please include the graphic when you post.

Yesterday’s Post
With sincere thanks to my site designer, Jim Ellison, yesterday’s post is now available for comments if anyone is interested in leaving one there. As I spent most of yesterday dealing with the problem, Kitties Blue did not comment on any of your posts, for which I sincerely apologize. I appreciate your patience and support.
We’re sorry you had problems. We love that spark and will try to get Mom to remember it at her frustrating job.
That’s certainly an appropriate spark in light of your blog post issues yesterday. I’m glad everything got sorted out with Jim Ellison’s help. We left a comment. 🙂
Big hugs to you all.
We wondered what had happened to your post yesterday. We’re glad you got things fixed. How frustrating/
Cats and boxes; the best thing ever!
I hate it when our blogs just don’t do what they are supposed to do. I love your Spark and it fits with what happened to you yesterday.
Have a purrfect Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. ❤
I am glad your comments are working again. Great choice for a spark. XO

Great spark. We have to go revive Allie now!
The Florida Furkids with bazillion smoochies and tons of love to Mau from his unconcious wife Allie
Whew! Don’t take this wrong but I was nervous at first it might have been my computer as I just got it back from the shop this past week! But we were able to post our selfie but unable to comment. So glad things are back. I love that quote and picture! Why, that picture could just as easily have been one of our kitties! 😀
Yes, that terrific Spark sums it up with those difficult tech pains in the furry butt!
Just called in to say hello, and we missed being able to say how nice yesterdays selfie was. Glad things are back on track, so till next weekend,
Toodle pips and purrs

Yippy! Looks like all is well in the commenting department this morning! Congratulations to whoever it was that figured out what the glitch was. We sure love that photo of Mau in the box – looks like he maybe thought he’d better get out of that one before he landed in a heap on the floor! Determinations is a wonderful (and useful!) thing…………Happy Monday
Hugs, Teddy
I was sad I couldn’t leave a comment, but I’m glad you got it worked out.
That is a very appropriate Spark after yesterday’s problems. The strange part is that the entire post and blog hop is visible from the home page. It is frustrating to be able to see it but not be able to comment, but far more frustrating for you.
Yay! I can comment! We appreciated your post cause we are stoopy and didn’t ever really understand the ‘spark’ thing but now we kind of do. Of course, the Human is mostly too lay-zee to help me with much, so we prolly won’t actually *do* it, but at least I know what it is, MOL!
And Giulietta? YOu looked mah-vellous yesterday XOXO and kissies to Miss Misty M. <3
