Sparks: Week #5
I decided to keep with the theme of peace after Saturday’s BlogBlast4Peace.
Once again this is one of Dad Tom’s photos. It was taken at North Creek, Buchanan, Virginia.
I had hoped to either tell you something about Maximillian Degenerez or provide a link to information. However, I could not find any. The most I can tell you is that he is or was a Portuguese artist.
This is a blog hop established and hosted by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). In starting this hop, Annie said, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
If you’d like to join the hop, click on the Sparks badge.

Oh my goodness. I haven’t been through Buchanan in YEARS! I am from Roanoke and while Daddy and I lived up north for awhile, we used to come through that away on the way back home to Roanoke.
Another lovely photo by your dad! We love the quote too!
What a beautiful photo and a beautiful quote to match. Thank you for sharing this spark with us and the world!
That is a wonderfully peaceful Spark.
The sound of falling water is a balm to the soul!
Love the photograph and love the quote. This is such a great idea that Annie had. Focus on the good, not all the negativity.
Have a fabulous day filled with peace. ☺
Your Dad takes wonderful pictures and that is the purrfect quote to go with it!

What a lovely photo and nice sentiment. Happy Sparks Monday!
Thank you to both you & Tom. I love waterfalls, and there are many in the U.P. I do always feel a special peace when I am in nature. Thank you for this; I needed it. HUGS.
What a beautiful photo…we can feel the peace.
An ideal pairing! Such a beautiful photo and the quote is perfect! Have a fabulous week!
Another beautiful photo of Tom’s paired with the PERFECT quote…….one of the sounds I find most soothing is the sound of water in a fountain or rain on the roof or while sitting on the rocks by a stream……or – most especially – the ocean waves. Peaceful.
Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too)
You guys’ male human takes awesome pics!
