Sparks
I selected this week’s Spark with the thought of Thanksgiving being later this week.
I can affirm that this has happened to me many times in my life, and I am grateful.
This is another of Dad Tom’s photographs. To create the circle of fire, steel wool was placed in a whisk and lit. The whisk was attached to a string and swung in a circle. If you look closely at the center of the circle, you can see the shadow of the person twirling it.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

Wow! I have not ever seen anything like that before! Wonderful as is the spark text.
By the time I met Bear, my fire had gone out. And I can’t say I was bothered by that at the time. A good ten years of Bear therapy and I could set the world on fire. It’s not just meeting a human being … but often, the re-kindle of the flame is because of a cat.
Oh, that is a cool photo!!! Ma said she wants to try that, butts she’d probably catch her hair on fire! BOL! Awwwww, that pic of you two is just precious!

I’ve been reading some incredible books recently, and am amazed that the authors came up with such wonderful stories. The fire burns brightly in them.
