SO MANY THANKFULS & THE FISHERMAN

Thankful Thursday

We are thankful that our mom re-roped our little cat perch. That may not sound like much, but it was pretty much torn to shreds.

Mom and Dad are happy for some warmer weather. They have been in the swim/spa twice and should be able to get in again for the next several days, as the temps are going to gradually reach the lower 90s.

Mom is happy she has finally gotten her Instagram account up and working again. She was able to post the photo of Cooper the Orange she posted here on Monday. If you don’t follow us on Instagram, you can find us at kitties.blue.

We all are happy Mom and Dad got to go out to celebrate their anniversary last night. After being locked down for so long, they deserved a night out.

In order to help them celebrate, after they got home, six of us piled on the bed with them. The only ones missing were Giulietta and Lisbeth.

Mom and Dad send their thanks to all who left anniversary wishes for them here and on Dad’s Facebook page.

Finally, we are thankful, as always, for those who follow and support us.

Thankful Thursday is a blog hop hosted by Brian. To participate, post for what you are thankful on your blog, and then click on Brian’s badge.

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

Now that we’ve told you our thankfuls, it is time for some poetry. As she does most Thursdays, Mom is participating in Teddy and Angel Sammy’s (Two Spoiled Cats) poetry challenge.

Here’s this week’s inspiration photo and our mom’s poem.

The Fisherman

Sun beaten and sea weary,
Long hours waiting for fish to bite.
Days and weeks away from home
Working to feed his large family.
Resigned to his solitary existence,
Knowing his life at sea will never end
Until he is laid to rest beneath the earth.

While visiting Two Spoiled Cats, please make certain you read Angel Sammy’s poem. He transmits it to Teddy from the Bridge each week, and it is always a masterpiece.
