Caturday Art
Calista Jo took this photo to use for Sunday Selfies, but her right eye looked a little wonky, so she decided not to use it. I liked how she had her mouth open and wanted to use the photo. She gave me permission to use it for today’s art.
I started with the Utopia effect from the Painnt app. To that I added the Scrapz filter from piZap at 50 percent and a frame from favpng. I quite like it and hope you do as well.
I did create a puzzle.
Calista Jo will be joining the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty. You can do the same by clicking on Athena’s badge.
Sunday Selfies Reminder
That tomorrow is the last Sunday in August makes my head want to explode. 2022 being nearly 2/3s gone seems totally impossible. If the passage of time doesn’t slow down, Audrey and Raleigh will be all grown up, and I’ll be pushing up daisies.
Anyhoo…you all know what Sunday means: Time for selfies. As I used C.J.’s for art, I’ll be looking for another volunteer for tomorrow. Wish me luck. You all know how Kitties Blue are not fond of the process of taking selfies. At least I now have nine possible candidates.
Regardless of which of the Kitties Blue show up tomorrow as your host, they’ll all be looking forward to seeing you. And feel free to invite some friends. Until then have a terrific Caturday.
Calista Jo, we love this beautiful and scrappy artwork of you!
We are shocked by how this year seems to be flying by, too.
Sometimes, the wonky photos are the best for puzzles, like this one!
Thanks for it, and I’m off to play.
That really is quite pretty!
Calista Jo, that’s an adorable pic of you!
Beautiful art. I like that frame too. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
That turned out fabulous! Mom tried to use favpng for our frame today but couldn’t figure it out. She needs to work on it more.

The art is lovely.
Well, now. I don’t believe I have seen Calista Jo by herself in a while!
That’s a fabulous and very artsy photo of C.J. She looks “neato” with that smile!! I’ll be here tomorrow I’m sure in SOME kind of Selfie. Maybe Mom will remember to snap a new photo of me???? Maybe?
Hugs, Teddy
Wow, Calista is a beauty, even without enhancement!
That turned out to be quite beautiful! Thank you CJ!
That was gracious of Calista Jo to let you use her photo for art; and it turned out beautifully! I’m stunned at how fast the time is going this year, too.
