Thank You Friends
I am overwhelmed by all the birthday wishes and visitors to my party. Your outpouring of love has touched my heart and Mom and Dad’s hearts as well. I even got some more beautiful cards, which I will share at the end of the post.
Unfortunately my day sucked, as you may have guessed from the title of this post.
I had a violent grand mal seizure early in the day. I was on the stairs when it started, and I fell through the spindles (remember, I’m a little guy). I fell to the table below, knocking off about 10 framed photos, and then landed on the floor in the corner next to the radiator. Before Mom could grab me I ended up behind the radiator. By the time she got me out, I had shredded her left arm, right hand and shirt. I didn’t mean to hurt her. I don’t know what’s happening when I’m having a seizure.
Good news: The seizure subsided on its own after several minutes. And I didn’t sustain any injuries in my fall.
I didn’t think anything could really save my day until…
I found a mousey!
Mom and Dad have no idea where it game from, and I am not telling. We never get mousies in the house in the summer, so I know it was my special birthday treat. It was already dead when Mom discovered I had it. And guess what? She didn’t take it away from me right away. She let me throw it around in the upstairs hallway while the other Kitties Blue watched me. When she finally wanted to give that mousey a nice burial in the trash, I got treats to give him up. So my day started out cwappy and ended G-R-E-A-T!
My Birthday Cards
I showed off three of my cards yesterday, and I received three more. My first card is from Valentine at Noir Kitty Mews. Thank you, Valentine!
My second card is from BellaDharma who lives at The Purrfect Pad. Love and huggies right back to you.
This is the cool card from Timmy, Einstein, Miss Fitz, Buddy Budd, Rumpy and Toby. They all live together with Dad Pete at Tomcat Commentary by Tim. You guys and girl rock!
Thanks again, dear friends. I am a super lucky cat no matter what kind of day I have! I love you all.
Purrs and paw-pats, Sawyer
