Sunday Selfies: Week #374
Wow, I feel like I haven’t seen y’all in ages. Have you missed me? That fiesty, monkey cat, Kizmet, seems to get most of the attention around here.
Anyhoo, I took my selfie on Friday afternoon while recovering from a seizure in my dad’s lap. Unfortunately I have been having more frequent seizures…like every eight to ten days. Mom is going to get an appointment with Dr. Neel to check my phenobarbital levels. When she actually, completely retires at the end of the year, we don’t know what we are going to do.
Now that I have shown you my selfie, it is time for you to show us yours. I know I look pretty cute, but I am certain each of you do as well. The best thing about our blog hop is that you don’t even need to post today. It remains open through Thursday. And you don’t have to be a cat to join. All the Kitties Blue enjoy making new friends as well. So, if you’ve been lurking in the shadows uncertain about joining, please do! I promise, we’ll show you a good time.
Purrs and paw-pats, Sawyer
Awww, you look safe and cozy in your Dad’s lap. Sorry you’re having trouble with seizures again. Your mom may want to ask Dr. Neel if she can recommend someone for your care. When our vet retired last year he said “you don’t need to drive all the way out here”… knowing that we drive 20 miles so he could care for us. In his polite way he was telling us that the vets who took over his practice weren’t anything special and we could find a vet who was just as good much closer to home.
Sawyer, you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your veterinarians are able to find a good solution for your seizures, and that someday they may become a thing of the past.
Cute selfie Sawyer! Hoping those seizures will stay away for a while.
We’re always purring for you, Sawyer. Darling selfie!
Lil’ Sawyer, I’m sorry you are having those bad seizures again. I was so hoping you wouldn’t have any more EVER. I’m glad you’re daddy’s lap was available to give you some comfort and help you rest. Hugs.
Great selfie. We’re sending lots of hugs and purrayers.

Sawyer, we think you look very cozy there, but we are sorry to hear about the increase in your seizures. Our Angel Ciara had lots of trouble with seizures too. We hope your vet can make some changes in your dosing and help you do better.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Sawyer, we sure hope you are feeling better and your seizures go away.
Magellan has seized on several occasions and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so frightened and helpless in my life. You and your Mom are in my prayers. xoxo
Sawyer, I love you. And I have been concerned for you. I hope your mom and dad will ask your good Vet who she recommends for you. It is sure to be the best recommendation you could get.
I am grateful more than I can say that you are at home where you need to be and that you have all the love and care that is possible t be given.

Sawyer, you are in our purrayers every day. We are glad that you did your selfie today! You look so furry cuddly. We do hope that you have less frequent seizures. Sending you and your furblings and your peeps purrs.
So good to see you Sawyer. You sure look handsome. There is such a fine line with meds to control seizures but always remember you’re safe and there’s someone there for you that loves you
Tyebe amd Shoko
Hmm, have you talked to Sawyer’s vet about CBD oil? You just have to know it’s good oil with no extras other than maybe some safe carrier oils. We get ours from one of the other bloggers, who gets it from a nearby farm in Denver, CO. She uses it for her poodle’s seizures, and it has done wonders.
Deerest sweet Sawyer: Wee are FURRY sorry yore havn weeklee seezuress! BellaSita had a seezure this week two. Mee jumped up on bed to help her an shee freeked out, so mee watched from mee cat tree.

I love your selfie, so sweet. I am sorry about the more frequent seizures though. Thank you for hosting. Have a nice day. XO
Sawyer, I’m sorry you’re having more seizures. Hopefully a tweak of your medication will help. Sending you many purrs. ~Ernie
We are so sorry you are having more seizures. We have our paws crossed they can find a treatment that works for you.
I am sorry your having more seizures. Purrs and prayers. Handsome selfie.
Dear Sawyer,
I am always sad when I hear you have had a seizure. I wish I was there to cuddle with you.
Love and whisker kisses,
Noelle
We all love you Sawyer and home those seizures lessen soon. We send hugs and purrs your way.
Sending soft purrs to you Sawyer, with hopes that Dr Vet can find some answers for improved care, seizures are not good things at all, not at all …
You are so sweet, Sawyer.
We are sending you healing purrs and hugs xx
Sawyer you look so cozy in your burrito but it makes me sad you’re there because you had another seizure. I wish you could go back to the days when they were farther apart OR better still, wish you didn’t have them ever. At any rate, you are in the best possible hands with your Mom and Dad and THAT makes all of us feel better that you are home and safe. Happy Sunday to you and the other Kitties Blue!
Hugs, Teddy
Sawyer you do look cute wrapped in towels but I know you mum and dad are worried about you. Treasure your vet as much as you can, and check to make sure you have all the options (for any new vet – so they know you know).
Rest easy young friend.
Oh, you are so adorable in that blankie selfie, Sawyer. We are so sorry for your troubles. Do they make a low dose Xanax for kitties? Maybe that would calm the seizures. How scary they must be for you and your family. Let’s hope the vet finds a way to help you, you beautiful kitty.
I’m sorry you’ve been having seizures more often, Sawyer. Paws crossed your vet can help.
Aww, Sawyer, we are sad you are having the seizure monster visiting you so often. Hope that the nice vet lady can help figure out how to help them be less.
We are pawyering for you and send a lot of that POTP, too.
And that is a sweet selfie, all wrapped up in the love of your Dad’s arms:)
You are looking absolutely adorable, Sawyer. We are so sorry the seizures are increasing. We are purring and praying for you – always.
Sawyer I sure hope those seizures slow down my friend. You look really good but I bet you are really tired. My asthma has been sneaking up on me and it takes a long self soothing purr with Dad to come to. We have a Kismet named Toby, oy vay.
Looking good, Sawyer, and it sure is nice to see you. We are sorry to hear your seizures have been more frequent, and we are purring and praying, as always, that somehow youu all can get them more controlled.
Love and hugs to you and your familly.
