I decided to try something a bit different for this week’s art. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped. I used a photo of Sawyer on the catio as a background and the image of a cat I “colored’ using the app, Happy Color, as an overlay. If you were here for Monday Sparks, you will have seen another Happy Color image as the background for my Spark.
Here’s the art created with PicMonkey. Even if no one else likes it, Sawyer is pretty certain Noelle (Friends Furever) will.
I am more interested in showing you the original photo of Sawyer prior to my cropping it and cloning out the chili pepper lights.
Sawyer has no fear, but I feel as if my heart is being squeezed whenever he ascends to this upper perch on the catio. If he would have a seizure while up there, I don’t believe he could survive. Even if we take that perch down, it won’t stop him from climbing to the top of the screen, as he follows the squirrels climbing up on the opposite side. And we do want to treat him as a cat and not an invalid.
Our little daredevil has had his access to the roof blocked, so I guess we can’t deny him access to the catio perches.
Sawyer is joining the Caturday blog hop hosted each week by Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty. If you’d like to create some art and join him on the blog hop, click on the badge below. And if you’d like to learn more about the Happy Color app, see our Monday post, “Sparks of Opportunity & Strength.”
Sunday Selfies Reminder
Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day so one of us will be sporting (virtually, of course) something green. If you’d like to do something special in celebration, Kitties Blue say, “Go for it.” But it will be St. Gertrude of Nivelles the kitties and I will be honoring. St. Gertrude of Nivelles is the patron saint of cats and cat lovers and tomorrow is her feast day.
Kitties Blue look forward to seeing our old friends tomorrow and hopefully some new ones as well.
Sawyer is gonna be a crazy cat, no matter what!
The heart art is pretty.
Love you, Sawyer!

I guess he is a daredevil. I think your art came out great. XO
Wow, Sawyer! You are a daredevil!!
Some cats love to get as high as they can. Flynn was the same and would climb right to the top of the big old oak tree.
I like the art.
What a daredevil! This he needs to do to feel normal and be himself. The picture of Sawyer is done with love and we can all see that. We like it.

I would worry too when you go up high. You’re sure a handsome mancat. Yes you are.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your peeps and a big hug to your mom. ♥
We think your art is pretty Sawyer, be careful up there!
OMC Mom totally understands how you feel since she worries when Raz goes up high too. Noelle is SWOONING!!! She said she would love to go on the Catio with Sawyer!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle.
That’s a great spot for watching around ! We’re glad to see that Sawyer is enjoying life like every cat should do. Purrs
Sawyer knows no fear because he’s learned he’s in a safe and happy home…..he is living his “best” life there in the Blue household. It’s wonderful the cats have such a nice outdoor spot to nap, enjoy sun, watch birds and the antics of squirrels. I think the “heart art” turned out very nicely and no doubt Noelle will do a little swooning when she sees it.
I love that Sawyer is such a risk taker!
