We are forgoing our usual Monday Sparks post to celebrate Sawyer’s second birthday. As we explained yesterday, we don’t know the exact date of his birth. Dr. Neel gave him the birth date of July 1 when she met and examined him for the first time in November 2017.
Though now two, Sawyer remains a little fellow. Most cats are fully mature and considered to be adults when they reach age two. Manx cats, however, are not fully mature until they reach five years of age. With the likelihood that Sawyer will never see his fifth birthday, we are celebrating every day that our boy is alive and well.
Today, however, is an extra big celebration, so we all hope you will join us. Mau was so excited, he decided to bake two cakes.
Please join us for some foodables and non-alcoholic beverages.
Thanks for joining us in this celebration. Please stay as long as you like. Sawyer, all of us Kitties Blue, Mom and Dad Tom would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, support, prayers, purrs and POTP you have given us as we struggle with keeping Sawyer to having a minimum of manageable seizures.
As well as celebrating his birthday, Sawyer will be popping over to Comedy Plus to join their Awww Mondays blog hop. He hopes to see many of you there. To join him, click on the badge below.
Though not our fault, we’d like to apologize for yesterday’s Sunday Selfies blog hop being such a mess. We know that others have dealt with this recently as well. After contacting Brent Riggs, (Linky Tools), he replied that he nearly had the problem solved and that everything would be back to normal by Sunday afternoon. When we checked Sunday evening, it was not. We all have our paws crossed that by next Sunday the problem will be resolved.
We’ll all be back on Wednesday. Until then…stay cool.
