Thursday is the day we share the things for which we are thankful. This week, Kitties Blue and I have a long list.
We are super thankful Sawyer is now celebrating 30 days without a gran mal seizure. Woohoo! We know it is partly due to all the prayers and POTP everyone continues to send. So, we are thankful for all of you as well.
I am thankful for all the birthday wishes shared in the comments on the blog on Sunday. There also were e-cards, snail mail cards and good wishes left for me on Tom’s Facebook page for which I am immensely grateful. I also received a couple of really cool gifts from Dad Tom and the kitties, which I’ll share on a future post.
We are thankful for some unseasonably warm weather with temperatures in the low and mid 70s. It’s been great for catio time. I am hoping to get out in the yard today for a little clean-up, especially as by Monday the highs will only be in the 40s. My other plan is to take Kizmet out in the yard (in her harness and on leash) for the first time. With any luck, next Thursday she and I will be thankful for a good outcome.
I am thankful for winning $75 of merchandise from the Kitty Cat Go store. If you are unfamiliar with this, it is the store of Emily and the Kitty Cat Go Adventure Team from Kitty Cat Chronicles.
And finally, I am thankful to have been one of five firsties on the Two Spoiled Cats’ Tuesday Teaser!

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
Thursday also is when we share poetry for Thoroughly Poetic Thursday hosted by Teddy and Angel Sammy (Two Spoiled Cats).
Here’s the photo they provided for this week and my poor excuse for a haiku.
I look so pretty!
Do you think mom will notice
I used her lipstick?

Such a wonderful bunch of thankfuls today and we’re so happy to hear that wonderful milestone for Sawyer. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
We are always happy when we hear good news about Sawyer!! We love him so much. Noelle is sending whisker kisses back to him.
Lots to be thankful for!!!
We liked your haiku!

Sawyer, we are so very pleased that you have been seizure-free! Usually, when some food is salt-free or sugar-free it means that food is taste-less too! However, seizure-free is a really great happy thing! May this continue! We loves you Sawyer and the current Kitties Blue including Angel Kitties too! May all these Great and Thankful days of Seizure-Freedom continue! Loves Scouts Mango and Willow and Our Mom Brenda!
So happy that you had a wonderful birthday Miss Janet! Also so VERY happy that our dear buddy Sawyer has gone so long without a big seizure. We pray that “trend” continues forever and ever. Kizmet will do fine on her harness and leash I bet. I sure did surprise my Mom and Dad when they tried me out on them – I loved being outside and to this day even though no more harness and leash I stick RIGHT BY Mom and Dad when we’re outside. It’s my “safe” spot! We think you did a great job with your haiku for the little girl pretending to be grown up. Well done…………
Paws crossed things go well with Kizmet’s outside adventure! And as always, I am purring lots for Sawyer.
30 day!! A record!! Hooray!
I do think if we all made up our minds to think about it we could all come up with a very long list of thankfuls!
That is a cute poem!
