Sunday Selfies: Week #317
On Thursday afternoon Dad Tom took this photo. We didn’t know it at the time, but it was there to welcome a special and precious cat to her new home.
Our beloved sister-in-law, Mau’s wife Allie, received her golden wings and flew off to the bridge to join Mau. She’d been feeling unwell for a little while, and Mom Sharon knew she was ready to be with Mau, her sisfur, Ellie, and her dad, Bill. Though, we know she and Mau are happy to be together again and are holding each other tightly, while they watch over us all; it is a loss that has devastated Allie’s mom, Sharon, and her fursibs, Raz and Noelle, as well as our entire family. We were all blessed to have Allie in our lives and will miss and remember her always.
We created a special collage of Mau’s favorite photos of Allie for our selfies today. Mom Sharon also has a special Allie post. To visit Friends Furever and leave your condolences, please click on Allie’s collage.
A couple of other friends also received their wings on Thursday. We had planned to honor them today, but will do so tomorrow on our Sparks post.
Hopping Time
We now invite you to hop with us. The link is below. Remember: You don’t have to post on Sundays to join the hop. It remains open through Thursday.
We’d be grateful if you’d link back to The Cat on My Head or display our Sunday Selfies badge, but neither is necessary to join the hop.
Purrs and paw-pats, Misty May, Giulietta, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
p.s. If you missed us the last couple of days, we apologize for not posting on Friday or Saturday. Though, we think it a pretty lame excuse; Mom had some health issues and had to spend a little time in the hospital. No worries, she’s home now and okay!
Allie was a beautiful angel on this earth, and now she’s a beautiful angel at the Rainbow Bridge. Purrs and prayers to Sharon, and to all of you.
Allie must’ve been missing Mau terribly and decided she didn’t want him to be in the clouds without her. I am glad they are now together, but it is sad that they had to leave their other loved ones and their furiends behind. They’re luv for each other is an inspiration. I hope the Princess Erin and I have a great luv that lasts furever like theirs. Hugs for you and your family and for Allie’s family, too.
A loving and beautiful tribute to Allie. I love all the pictures of her. I know she is with her dad sister, and her husband Mau. We all will miss her and loved her so much. Until we meet again Sweet Allie run free with your loving Mau.

Hope there are no visits there again anytime soon.
So sad about Allie; I’ve left a comment and added Angel Allie’s photo to my post today.
This is such sad news about Allie. She had a long life, but it is never long enough. I am sorry your mom was in the hospital, I hope she has a full recovery. Thanks for hosting. XO
The double rainbow was most definetly a sign. We know Mau and Allie are happily together but we are heartbroken that they had to leave us. The collage is beautiful, can Mom use it when she does Allie’s memorial?

I read first off this morning about beautiful Allie joining her husband and Daddy and I am just devastated.
We are just learning here about Angel Allie. We knew she wasn’t feeling well, but we did not expect this news. We are so very sad. At the same time we know Angel Mau was there to welcome her with all his live. Soft woos and gentle hugs to her family and to you.

OMC! We didn’t notice at furrst that it was a DOUBLE rainbow! For SURE it was a sign that precious Mau was waiting for his beloved Allie and that they are now together again, for EFFUR.
We have already visited Sharon to offur Our Condolences to her and to Raz and Noelle and We send you, too, purrs of comfort.
A beautiful tribute to gorgeous Allie, she will be missed by all of us! 🙁 XOX
These are very sad news, but Allie is certainly more happy now, and feeling good. Rosie has lost two siblings this year, very hard for all of us, but they will stay forever in our hearts.
It’s been a hard week for all of us who loved and will always love beautiful Allie. The comfort lies in knowing she’s with her Mauricio. The double rainbow was TOTALLY a sign – all is well at the Bridge – love goes on and on and on. That’s a gorgeous collage of a truly gentle and gorgeous girl………….
Love, Pam and Teddy
That’s so sad about Allie 🙁
Purrs and hugs xx
I was so sad to hear of Allie’s passing and offer my condolences to both your families. That is a beautiful rainbow to welcome her to The Bridge.
