Remembering Angel Mau(ricio)
It is very rare for us to publish two posts on the same day. Today, however, is a very special day. It is the day we remember our furry friends who have transitioned from their mortal lives to those of angels at the Rainbow Bridge. Every year, we lose so many friends, but this year, we also lost our precious Mau (Mauricio).
In the past, I have shared photos of all our angels, but today there is only Mau (with a few fursibs joining him). Unlike the other Kitties Blue, he almost always loved to have his photo taken and was a total ham. These photos are from just the past five years. I will share photos of a younger Mau at another time.
You will be on Mau overload after this, but I just couldn’t help myself.
Angel Mauricio you are loved and will remain in our hearts forever.
I hope all our Mau fans, especially his sweet and adoring wife, Allie, have enjoyed this. If you have a favorite photo, let Kitties Blue know in the comments.
Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day
Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day was started by Deb Barnes from The Chronicles of Zee and Zoey. It came from her desire to find the love, beauty, and dignity in saying goodbye to Jazz, her Ragdoll cat, that she let go of on August 28, 2013. Each year we use this day to remember our beloved furry friends that have left us. Deb is hosting a blog hop, which you can find here.
We loved to see all your pictures, beautiful, handsome Angel Mau💗Soft Pawkisses as you remember all your sweet Angels🐾😽💞
Aww . . . cute Mau. I think my fav is Mau lounging on the fabric with the leaves. He looks so content and relaxed. Head nuzzles.
Such a special remembrance of your super special Angel Mau. We love all of the photos, but the upside down pose with the catnip made us smile really big. Love, purrs and prayers as you remember. XO
Mau overload? Never! Thanks for the pictures and the memories from Deb and Mr. Jazz of Purr Prints of the Heart.
The amazing power of pictures is to stay in the memory. Mau was a very special cat and we can see the love (and personality) in the photos! Thanks so furry much for sharing Mau with us through the blog and through your photos! We send yous many purrs and strength!
Purrs
Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Angel Nellie
These photos made us happy but also sad. Mau was such a great cat and took amazing photos. We remember him <33
These pictures of Mau are adorable. I think our favourite is Mau wiping away a tear from his sunglasses…..he was laughing that hard.
Great memories.
Shoko, Tyebe, Budd and mom Jean
Lots of purrs to you today. <3
My heart is filled with such sadness! You weren’t kidding about Mau and Astrid – so many of these pictures include both of them. And the icing on the cake was the picture with Fiona – seeing her sweet face made me so happy and sad at the same time! We miss Fiona and Mau and we remember them everyday.
Our missing friends live forever in our hearts, but when they’ve freshly left us, it’s awfully painful.
Purrs and hug on this remembrance day.
*Bows head* as I remember Mau with you. Nothing better than Mau overload altho I doubt that could happen.
Such a beautiful tribute to Angel Mau. Sending you hugs as you remember all your angels. XO
Mau was a special cat and so photogenic. Sending you many purrs on this day of remembrance.
Along with all who said there could not be a ‘Mau overload’, we’re in full agreement …
we cannot tire of seeing the adorable face of this very handsome (Too Cute!) boy and
no doubt he’s the “hit of heaven” … tho you miss him terribly, may your memories be a
blessing and may he be at peace forever.
They are all lovely photos of Mau and each one holds a happy memory.
There is no such thing as Mau overload. I love all the photos of my sweet husband but especially the ones where he is being all cute and “hammy”
Smoochies and love to Angel Mau from Allie
We loved the Mau photos!
There’s no such thing as a Mau overload, that sweet guy was loved the world over. Hugs from all of us.
Oh Mau we miss you so. You were such a great kitty and loved your family so. We love all his photos but the one that jumped out is him on his back with the nip with Cooper looking on like “Hey Mau! Share will ya!”
Timmy, Dad, Toby, Rumpy Bump, Miss Fitz and Einstein
We will always miss May and our fur-babies who left us for the Rainbow Bridge.
May we never forget them.
We miss Mauricio like he was our own – and in so many ways he was “everybody’s” cat because everyone loved him. He was so photogenic and handsome and was a wonderful Cat Scout in addition to being an all around good friend. Loved all the photos. We miss him.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
