Wordy Wednesday
This is not the post we planned for today. We had intended to share some tie and bobble hat photos, which would have needed no words. But then Mom found out some dear friends of ours are unwell.
Esme and Mitalee from Critters in the Cottage are seriously in need of all the purrs, prayers and POTP each of you can send. The kitties and woofies at the Cottage are especially good friends of ours. LP (Mum Sophie) is a special friend to our mom. We know she is very sad and needs purrs, prayers and POTP as well.
Mitalee has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her stomach.
Esme has been diagnosed with a tumor on one of her lungs.
We all know how difficult and heartbreaking it is to have one kitty (or any furry family member) ill and suffering. To have two at the same time is devastating. This is what happened with our angels, Madison and MacKenzie. So we are aware of just how much Mum Sophie needs your support. Please let her know she and her sweet and lovely girls are in your thoughts and prayers.
Though this is not a true Wordless Wednesday post, we are entering our usual Wordless Wednesday blog hops in an attempt to let as many bloggers as possible know about this need.
We are sending our love, purrs, prayers and POTP to all the Critters in the Cottage and especially Mum Sophie, Esme and Mitalee. Thank you for doing the same.

Oh, what shocking news! Thank you for the heads up. I know it’s so hard to share this kind of thing in a public way, but I really believe in the power of positive thinking. I’ll be sending good thoughts along, and I’ll pop over to the website too!

I have known the Critters there for a long time. Both Admiral and me and mom as well. I was devastated to learn of Esme and Mitalee’s diagnosis as even though I have not met them, I love those two girls very much. Their dear and very sweet faces make my morning each time I get to see them. Purrs always and prayers for the precious babies.
Prayers for all in this sad and difficult situation.
Thank you Janet. This post is very thoughtful and kind of you and truly appreciated.
It’s been a staggering blow. In answer to your question, both the tumors are inoperable as the cancer is too advanced.
Thank you again for your love and support.

What terrible news. I visited their site this morning to offer purrs and prayers.
We read about this yesterday and while we don’t know the Critters in the Cottage, we were so VERY sad to hear and went right to their blog to let them know we were hoping and praying for them. So awful to have two kitties with such serious problems at the same time and our hearts go out to them.
