Caturday Art
Kitties Blue are not making fun of the seriousness of the COVID-19 virus, but they are snickering behind their backs at humans hoarding toilet paper. Their humans, however, do have enough kitty noms on hand for a month. After all, keeping the felines happy is always a top priority.
All eight of Kitties Blue are joining the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty. If you would like to join them or find art by other bloggers, click on Athena’s badge.
Sunday Selfies Reminder
Your host tomorrow will be that handsome, ginger cat, Cooper Murphy. Kitties Blue and I believe that every cat and all animals are handsome, beautiful, cute, unique and photogenic, so we look forward to hosting our hop and seeing your sweet faces every week. So, please join us again tomorrow.
Howdy! Do you use Twitter? I’d like to follow you if that would be ok. I’m definitely enjoying your blog and look forward to new posts.
If you run out of noms then you could try cooking up a meal for your kitty – during the covid-stay-at-home period I’ve tried some recipes like these

Love it!
Maybe humans should do what we cats do and lick their bums clean instead?
MOL!
Just trying to cheer you all up. Sorry if it sounds disgusting 🙂
Yes, we’ve been amazed (and saddened) by how people are hoarding stuff here, too. Our mom and dad made sure we have enough cat food and litter. Priorities, right? XO – Gracie and Ava
Our hooman Mom has been adding a little extra to her groceries since February. Then she did one extra run in between her normal outings and she got all the things she will need (she hopes) she also took special care to make sure we had enough for at least 4 weeks. Food & litter. It’s just wise, and if nothing happens well she has her hurricane supplies!
We’d much rather hoard nip than TP!
Spot on! Dad came home from shopping today and he said there were a lot of shelves that were EMPTY! No tuna fish. No Pizza. No Cleaners or Wipes. Guess we know what people find important. RN Dad says be prudent by washing hands often and don’t touch your face after being in public until you do. Same as it ever was.
Hi Blue kitties. We haven’t been on the computer for a few days as mom has had several appointments. What’s this CooperMurphy is the poster boy for tomorrow. Whoops, Tyebe heard me mewing at you. Yes, Tyebe your handsome, gentle, kind mancat is the subject of tomorrow’s Sunday Selfie. Well, you’d better get bathing if you want to be in the Selfies tomorrow. Your fur’s sticking up where you leaped on Budd. Tacky Tyebe…..hey, your new handle…mol

Can never have enough cat food and noms. Stay well everyone and don’t hoard LOL.
Glad your folks have their priorities right 🙂 XO
We went on a TP hunt only to come home and find a 12 pack in the garage we’d forgotten about – good thing as there was no TP to be had at the stores!
I love that my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has always taught preparedness for times of need! It’s a good feeling not to have to panic. Preparedness can be for unemployment, sickness, external things like this virus, etc. I’ve had people scoff at me during good times when I tried to share about the practicality of storing food items and necessities for short term and long term. Sad.
Well, there’s not TP in our neck of the woods, not even strung up in the trees!
Mom here buys the HUGE packs of TP that are the triple rolls and just bought them before the panic buying started. She DID stock up on food and litter for us though. We LOVE that graphic. It made us MOL.

Mom stocked up some on my food and my litter. I am the one, SHE thinks, who def wouldn’t understand running low on either if she got sick.
She has two weeks worth of spare foods now, and 12 rolls of toilet paper in case she gets sick. She says she’ll use soap and watering not worry about sanitizer as she has started wearing rubber gloves at stores. Including for counting out money.
That is a fun picture. There is plenty of TP available here and no-one seems to be hoarding it. Sanitisers and anti bacterial wipes are a different matter though. We can’t get them for love nor money!
Well around here, things are like they’ve always been……no hoarding mania happening here. Store shelves are as they always are so I guess we’re not the only ones here in our town who aren’t having panic attacks. We do pray for those infected and hope that SOON things are under control around the world. It’s amazing what has been effected by the virus. The world is on lockdown! Not here – we’re still doing what we’ve always done…..
So Coop is the star tomorrow? YAY FOR GINGERS!
Hugs, Teddy
There is almost always a couple weeks of TP and other supplies in this den…and we are good for noms for all of us too….when she opens a bag for the pups, she right away gets another. And well, there is plenty for the not so voracious Pipo…Treats?? Fur sure!
And why ARE they all hoarding that stuff anyways?? Do they think its the end of the world? MOL!
My human already had like a dozen rolls of toilet paper, so she hopes that by the time she starts running low in a few weeks, the whole situation has normalized!
