Feline/Friendship Fridays

napping cat

Last year, after the pandemic began, homeowners began putting stuffed bears on their front porches. They were intended as a diversion for families in lockdown with young children. I joined in, and my bears are still there. They don’t seem to mind sharing our double rocker with a napping Misty May.

The stuffed bears and Misty May are joining the Feline Friday blog hop at Comedy Plus and the Friendship Friday blog hop at Create With Joy. You can do the same by clicking on the appropriates badge(s).

Friendly Fill-ins: Week #252

Time for those fill-ins hosted each week by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). Sawyer did have to give me a bit of assistance this week. We both used teal italics for our fill-ins.

1. I never have time to finish reading all the blogs I follow.

2. Sawyer: My seizures can stay away forever, as far as I’m concerned.

3. Anything to do with animal welfare is a cause that is dear to my heart.

4. At this very moment, I am trying to decide which blog posts to enter in the annual CWA (Cat Writers’ Association) Communications Contest.

Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop. You can find the sentences to be filled in on both blogs on Thursdays. And you can join the hop by clicking on the badge at left.

Sawyer we couldn’t agree more.

Your porch bears have certainly held up well !

Those bears don’t take up much room…so plenty of space for Misty May to stretch out and snooze.

Oh, that is one relaxed nap, Misty May!! Those bears are purr-tecting you!

We totally agree with Sawyer!
And petcretary says she is always behind on her blogs…reading, commenting and even posting sometimes.

We love your blog and we think there is ample material to present to CWA…like Summer said, the poetry might just be the thing!

Misty May, I cannot figure out which end is your top and which end is your bottom in this image!

Cute photo. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I wish your seizures would stay away forever too. And Janet, any of your posts are worthy of the muse medallion. XO

We really liked seeing Misty May on the porch doing what we do best, nap. Great fill ins and we support you all the way

Love all the fill-ins. I have issues with comments at times too. I’ve been at this all morning and there are still 29 blogs I’ve not visited in my reader.

I hope Sawyer doesn’t have anymore seizures ever.

Love the napping Misty Mae and those cute bears.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥

That sure is comfy sweet Misty May and those were really good answers too.

The bears and other stuffies on the front porches seem to have disappeared with folks seeming to accept the trials of the pandemic. The Easter Bunny is currently sitting on our porch chair. I wouldn’t mind having Misty May join it there!

Sweet photo. Mom’s Facebook page memory today was about us putting a bear in our window!!

Your Fill-ins are great. We are totally on board with #2!!!

Misty May naps like my Frankie. That is a very cute picture. Is your porch enclosed or is she free to go outside?

Teddy March 26, 2021 at 5:23 am

Love that photo of Misty May and the bears having a snoozer on the front porch. We also think you have a LOT of blog posts that are PERFECT to enter in the CWA contest and we wish you tons of luck…….

Hugs, Teddy
