Sunday Selfies: Week #459 – Remembering Raz
This is not our usual Sunday Selfies, as one of the Kitties Blue will not be here to host the hop. Instead, we are using this opportunity to remember our dear friend, Raz. On Friday afternoon at 4:15, our wonderful friend, Raz, became an angel and flew off to the Rainbow Bridge. Raz had been ailing for several months. Nonetheless, we hoped he wouldn’t make his trip to the Bridge anytime soon.
As you know, we consider Raz family. Our angel Mau was married to Raz’s sisfur, angel Allie, Sawyer is his sisfur Noelle’s, boyfriend. And the alter-egos of Sawyer and Noelle, Stinky and Periwinkle, adventure together every week.
Sawyer and Raz have always been two peas in a pod. Both are charter members in the PTU Poopers Club and obobsessed with treats. He especially will miss their connection.
One of the things we will miss most about Raz was his quizzical, wide-eyed expression. I have made a couple of collages, and I think you’ll see what I mean.
Raz was a wonderful brofur to his fursibs past and present. He had a great girlfriend Madi, who I am certain was one of those who was there to meet him at the Bridge, along with so many friends, including our Mau, as well as family members.
Cat Scout Raz
I think most of you know that Raz was a Cat Scout. But not just any Scout, an exemplary and accomplishment Scout. He earned the highest honors available, including Cat Scout of the Year, the rank of Sabertooth and membership in the Clan of the Cave Cat. Raz also was Leader of the Rumbling Thunder Patrol and Assistant Leader of the Worldwide Wildcats Troop. He was loved and respected by all the other Cat Scouts.
Raz left paw prints on so many hearts, including mine. I will always love and remember him, as will so many others. All the Kitties Blue and I are sending love, prayers and hugs to Mom Sharon as well as fursibs, Noelle and Reesie.

Hopping Time
Kitties Blue hope you will forgive them for not posting a selfie of one of themselves this week. And they also hope you will, nonetheless, post one of yourself. They always look forward to seeing your happy and adorable faces.
Thank you for joining us today whether or not you post a selfie.
We will be back tomorrow with a Spark.
We are so sorry to learn of Raz’s departure to the Rainbow Realm! 💔🌈💔
That little guy will be missed.
We are so furry sad for Noelle and Reecie and especially for Mom Sharon. It is so furry tough when one of our furrends goes over the bridge. We send everyone who knew and loved Raz hugs and whisker kisses and loads of love.
We will miss Raz. Daisy Mae and I even remember being their Secret Santa, we do have good memories
Heartbreaking news for the Fur Family and Cat Scouts. Farewell Raz * bows head *

What a wonderful tribute to Raz. We will all miss him very much.
Beautiful tribute to a great kitty. Thanks for hosting. XO
It is so sad about Raz. Those collages are a wonderful tribute to him.
Such a most wonderful tribute to dear Raz and we’re all really sad that it was his time to go. Raz really was loved the world over and our Blogosphere is so much better because Raz was a big part of it. Hugs to Mom Sharon, Noelle and Reesie from all of us.
I feel like I’ve lost a brother…..I hope all the Angels we’ve known and who watched over all of us were waiting at the gate to give Angel Raz a big hug. I know Angel Sammy and MANY others were among the crowd. All of us wish we could give Mom Sharon a hug – it’s so very hard to say goodbye as it leaves an unimaginably painful heartache when a member of the family leaves us. I know one day all of us will be together but that doesn’t help with the emptiness we feel now. Sending Mom Sharon and Angel Raz’s sisters a big loving hug from me and Mom too.
Mom and I are sad that Raz had to leave his family. He is loved and missed very much by his family and friends.
This is a lovely tribute to Raz. My thought go to Sharon, and all who knew and loved him.
Raz was such a handsome kitty, with meaningful eyes that said so much. We are sad, sad for his family.
Raz will be sorely missed by so many. We made a memento in his honor.
We think your tribute is filled with much love and many happy memories of dear sweet Raz.
We send our love and hugs to you all, and to Mom Sharon, Noelle, and Reesie
What a lovely write up about Raz. The photo collages too are wonderful. Losing a family pet is difficult. My Alex passed away 3 months ago and it was painful for me. The happy memories outweigh the pain.
We’re so sad that Raz was needed at the Bridge. He was loved by so many of us, even though we never met in real life. We are most definitely purring and praying, and sending much love to Mom Sharon, Noelle, and Reesie. XO
