Sunday Selfies: Week #410
NOW
THEN
That’s right…one year ago today I left on my unauthorized walkabout. I turned my mom and dad into stressed out, crazy people. That lasted for three and a half weeks.
As you can see, I have grown up a lot since then. Manx cats are not considered adults until they turn five years old. I will have my fifth birthday in a few days. Last year I missed my birthday. This year I have no intention of letting that happen.
I have been a good boy and not tried to escape. An electronic locator has been added to my collar just in case I get any wild ideas.
I am blessed that my mom and dad never gave up on me and kept searching and spreading the word that I was missing. And I am grateful for all the prayers said for me and the support each of you gave my parents. Mom has written many times in the past ten years about how wonderful the pet blogging community is, and I totally agree with her. Thank you.
Hopping Time
I sincerely hope you will join me today and post a selfie to share with us and all your friends. Posting today is not necessary. You can participate anytime between now and Thursday. Thanks for joining me today, dear friends. Enjoy an easy Sunday!
Purrs and paw-pats, Sawyer (with love and whisker kisses for Noelle)
Gee! A year already! I remember that and I am SO happy you came home.
I’m even happier you decided that staying put is best 😉
Good thing the locator was added to your collar…just in case 😉

A year, huh?
Hard to believe it, Sawyer.
We are still so happy that you were found again.
We are all so relieved you came home safe and sound. We know just a little of that scare from Chia disappearing overnight this month. Are you going to have a birthday party, Sawyer? Chia is having fireworks and everything when she celebrates her second birthday on July 4! XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley
Sawyer, you sure have grown – on so many ways – into such a handsome man cat !

I remember when you went on your walkabout, Sawyer. It was a very worrisome time for your peeps and all of us in blogsville. I hope you won’t do that again. ~Ernie
Yes, staying home is a darn good idea Sawyer and that’s a most handsome selfie!
I am so glad your folks never gave up and you got back home. I hope you never do that again. Great selfie. Thanks for hosting. XO
Sawyer, We shall NEFFUR forget those anxious days when you were AWOL!
Please, neffur do such a thing again. Our blood pressure won’t take it…
Sawyer, I will never forget that awful day. We were all so worried but we never gave up hope. Now that you are all grown up, I hope you never decide to do anything like that again.
Love and whisker kisses,
Noelle
ps – I would never try to find another boyfriend. You’re the sweetest and most handsome ManCat in the world.
Sawyer we sure are glad you got found.
It’s amazing how your mom and dad never gave up and we are so happy you were found.
Sawyer I don’t think ANYONE (most specially your Mom and Dad!) will ever forget you leaving for your extended walkabout. We all worried about you and it was just a miracle your Mom found you finally. I’m glad you have a locator on now but I have a feeling you won’t be going ANYWHERE – there really is “no place like home” !!
Hugs, Teddy
That was a bad time for your family and all your blogging friends. I am glad they never gave up, but of course they wouldn’t. Your now selfie is very handsome.
Nice selfie, Sawyer! And happy birthday! I’m glad you are home for good.
That is one handsome selfie, Sawyer! And we are so glad you were found! Happy early Birthday!
We are SO glad your pawrents never gave up and that you were found…and none too soon!
Please never ever do that again, Sawyer.
We love you too much and want you to have lots of birthday, and of course we’ll help you by wishing you an early Fifth Birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
We forgot to add how amazingly handsome you are, Sawyer!! That is a great selfie!
Oh man Sawyer, I think tht wa the longest time for all of us as we waited for your Mum and Dad to find you! How anxious they were and how we checked every day ‘If he back” “Has he been spotted?” WHERE IS SAWYER.
You BET you won’t miss your birthday this year young man!!
Looking good, Sawyer! We most definitely love your “now” selfie better than your wanted poster. Love you, pal! 🙂
