Thankful Thursday on Friday
On Wednesday night Dad Tom and I took a bike tour of area Christmas lights with about 300 other cyclists/light enthusiasts. By the time we got home, Cooper Murphy went to Book Club at Cat Scouts, Dad Tom and I had dinner, and I had a hot bath to warm up, I honestly didn’t feel like writing a post.
As far as thankfuls go, I am thankful we did the light tour, but I am certain I will not do it again. It was just too darn cold.
I am even more thankful that I have all the out-of-town gifts wrapped and boxed (13 boxes) to mail tomorrow.
Kitties Blue are thankful for an early Christmas gift—a new cat tree. Kizmet was enjoying the gift before Dad Tom even took it out of the box.
I am thankful Sharon (Friends Furever) and I were the only two first commenters on the Tuesday Teaser at Two Spoiled Cats.
Finally Kitties Blue and I are thankful for all of you who visit and read our little blog. Your friendship and support is so important to us.

Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #289
So, I had to get a little help from Sawyer for this week’s fill-ins, and I had no answer for fill-in #4. Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). If you’d like to take part in fill-ins, both Ellen and Lorianne post the sentences to be completed on their blogs on Thursday. To join the hop, click on the Fill-Ins badge.
I have used teal italics for my fill-ins.
1. My biggest pet peeve at Christmastime is being too busy to just relax and enjoy the season.
2. Sawyer: A truckload of treats is on my list to Santa.
3. My Christmas to-do list still includes decorating our nine-foot tree.
4. A random piece of Christmas trivia that I know is absolutely nothing.
Feline/Friendship Friday
Kizmet is joining the blog hops at Comedy Plus and Create With Joy.
Thanks for stopping in today. We’ll see you again tomorrow with some Caturday Art.
I hate the cold. I mean really hate it. You’d never guess I lived in PA until my late 20’s.
My boys helped me put up and decorate our 9 footer the day after Thanksgiving, for which I am most thankful!
On #3, we decided to go out to “Forbidden City” a Chinese restaurant, with a bunch of the Jewish congregants where I work. I laughed my head off when one of them invited me and my family!
It has been a furry busy week! We are just now catching up! We LOVE Kizmet in the new cat tree while its still in the box and Mom has had a couple baths this week to wark up too! Concatulations on being a firstie! Your fill-ins ROCK as do your thankfuls! Purrs Marv

Congrats for being a first commenter on Teaser Tuesday. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I know what you mean about being too busy to enjoy the season. I bet your tree is a beauty. Have a nice weekend. XO
Love your fill-ins and love your new cat tree. Kismet loves it too.
Sawyer should get all the treats he wants.
I would not have gone out in the cold. I’m such a fair weather gal.
Tell Cooper Murphy I love him.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥
Oh Coop. we love your cat tree. Nice. Your fill ins were great. I especially liked #2
What a pawsome cat tree! Y’know…my mom hasn’t decorated our tree yet either. She better get off of her butt and get it done. I need some toys to whap! ~Ernie
That cat tree looks pawsome. It’s too bad the bike ride was so cold, it sounds like fun.
Raz said he had pretty much the same answer to the fill-ins!!!
The Florida Furkids with love and whisker kisses to Sawyer from Noelle
WOW – a new cat tree and it looks like a really nice one with fun spots to sit and “spy” on the humans and each other. Hard to imagine a long bike ride at night in this cold….BRRRRRRRR…..Please be sure and share photos of your beautiful Christmas decorations and ALL THOSE TREES!
Hugs, Teddy
Wow, I wish I could even CLIMB a cat tree. I’m afraid the couch is about my level. Never was an athlete…but it is very, very pretty. Good excercise and yes, we agree that your mama must KEEP WARM…Lights are nice, but a warm bath and body are nicer.
The residents where I work, took a ‘see the lights tour’ last night, but they were in a bus! A lot warmer:)
Its fun to try and be first in the door at the teaser…but this past Tuesday I even forgot to wake up, let alone remember it was Tuesday! We had furnace issues during what was the coldest night so far…16F, and snowing with winds…why do these things know the perfect time to conk out? We are thankful it was fixed by Tuesday morning!
Sawyer if your wish comes true, are you going to share??
I don’t think a 9 foot tree would even fit in our house!!
That is a great new cat tree! So big!
