Recently all seven of my girls had been vying for a date with man-cat extraordinare, King Spitty, in his Furrari. And this Saturday, Misty May gained bragging rights by being Spitty’s chosen companion for a trip south to Cape Hatteras National Seashore on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
We don’t want to steal Spitty’s thunder by telling you too much about their outing. Spitty has already written about it in his post, “My Eastern Beauty.” If you haven’t read it, we hope you’ll click this link and check it out. (I apologize that this link only goes to Spitty’s blog and not the exact post. No matter how many times I tried to link to it, I could not get the link to work.)
He left Misty May at home in a state of exhaustion with a special gift. It took her all day Sunday to recover. Since then she hasn’t stopped talking about the beauty of the beach and her gallant, thoughtful and cuddly companion. Who knew one of the well-known, bad boys of the bloggy world could be such a gentleman? No wonder all the lady-cats are clamoring for a date with him.
Thank you so much, Spitty, for selecting our beautiful, tuxie girl to take on this most excellent adventure. Don’t you think they make a cute couple?
P.S. Don’t forget about the following call for submissions:
The creator of the book A Letter To My Dog™ is working on the natural follow up: A Letter To My Cat™. The upcoming tome will feature a compilation of cat portraits accompanied by personal letters from devoted cat owners.
To create a volume of pet owners’ stories, the team behind the book is putting a call out to cat owners for story and photo submissions.
You can potentially be featured in the book by submitting a letter to your cat along with a photo!
The book team requires the following for submission:
• Your letter: Please start it “Dear XXX,” and remember to sign it (Love, Mom / Dad…etc.). The length should be under 500 words.
• Photos: We need you to submit a few photos of your cat alone, no people. Ideally, these would be your own photos, but if they are professional, please include photographer information so we can contact them for the rights if necessary.
• Contact Info: Please include your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address and any website/blog/social media info.
Remember to include any stories that highlight your cat’s unique personality and expresses how much he/she means to you!
SUBMIT YOUR LETTERS AND PHOTOS TO:
Deadline for submissions is 8/20/13.
That Spitty is one smooth mancat, isn’t he? But he’s a gentleman cat, too, for sure. We hope you had lots of fun!
That Spitty makes all of lady cats think they’re his one and only and then he breaks their little hearts.
We think Spitty might be a bit of a “player” Misty May! But as long as you shared a “lark” with him…it’s all good! :p
the critters in the cottage xo
Good old Spitty! While I was entertaining Nellie, he was showing Misty May his furrari!! We are surely cats about town mol xox
Love like everybuddy had a great time!
Wow you ladies were so lucky we would have loved a ride in Spitty’s Furrari.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hi Mom of Misty May, Tell MM she is a beauteous Lady Cat and I won’t forget our fantastic day! But uh-oh! I think Precious is gonna hurt me bad if I don’t get over to her place soon—well, I might be there sooner than she thinks!! (Glad the link worked!)
That Spitty really gets around in his red Furrari and all the lady cats have a great time!
We have had several “Minnies”. There was the original, of course, then Minnie Pumpkin and Mica Minnie Moo. There was almost a Minnie Cooper, but someone beat us out by a day, adopting her before we could.
Spitty is a good driver and a real gentlemancat, isn’t he Misty May? He took me for a spin in the Furrari a while back too.

That was such a fun and special time Misty May, that Spitty does it up right!
Hoo Cat what a lucky Kitty you are Misty May! I have to whisper so Ms Fitz does not hear. She would be jellouz and Toby would be too as she is his little princess cat.
PS
We love the Cats Meow! Purrs fur the suggestion!
Dad is going to donate our extra one to the next CB auction!

Spitty…he sure does make the ladycat’s hearts flutter! He took me on a ride too. We went to San Francisco (where he lives) because I wanted to see the Mint of all things!
My goodness! That Spitty gets around!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
We didn’t know Spitty had a furrari. That sounds like such an adventure!
Spitty sure knows how to treat the Ladycats. 🙂
Have a terrific Tuesday and good luck to the author for the book portraits.
Best wishes Molly
We read about that date over on Spitty’s blog, it was so sweet!
Hello MM and all, This link should go directly to the post:

I had a wonderful time with Misty May. I am a nice Boy, really I am. And soon I will be visiting again with the Furrari–however, you must be patient. There are quite a few LadyCats lined up–and even a few ManCats who want to tottle around with me. Maybe Austin and I can double date???
Anyway, thanks for writing such a sweet post about our lovely day at the shore XOXOXOXO
Hi Spitty, That is exactly the link I entered into my post. It worked once, and then wouldn’t work again. Yours sent me there now, so thanks so much for entering it here. Misty May still has her head in the clouds. She’d never left the state before. In fact the furthest she had traveled was to an adjoining city to visit the you-know-who. She also was born in that city. She’s sending you smooches as am I for treating her so well, Misty May’s mom, Janet
Precious is beyond jealous. She’s fuming right now! That Spitty really makes the ladycats go wild!
