Feline Friday
Misty May often sleeps like this and has for many years. I previously shared a similar photo on September 23, 2020, in the Wordless Wednesday post, “Face Plant.”
The eye you can see in the photo is the one with the ulcer. As you can see, Misty May can now close her eye, which she had been unable to do. So, progress has been made for which Dad Tom and I are grateful.
Misty May will be participating in the Feline Friday blog hop hosted by messy mimi’s meanderings. If you’d like to do the same, click on the badge below.
I think Misty May looks pretty cute in her photo, so I made a puzzle.
Friendly Fill-Ins
The Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop is hosted each Friday by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). The sentences to be filled in can be found on their blogs each Thursday. To join the hop, click on the badge at the left.
The Fill-Ins are always easier to complete when I get help from one or more of the Kitties Blue, but for the second week in a row, I did them all by myself. I used teal italics for my completions. Explanatory information is in parentheses.
1. Love your pets with all your heart.
2. My plans for September include working in the yard and going to the play, “Bright Star,” with my friend, Etna.
3. Having Chris to clean the house twice a month has made my life easier.
4. Having special needs cats really complicates things. (But it is worth it!)
Aww, dontcha just love when they do this?
So cute, and thanks for the puzzle too.
As long as she is comfy. Thank you for participating in the fil-ins, great answers. I hope you have a good time at the play. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
You look adorable sweet Misty May! Those were good answers, purrfect!
Misty May, that’s a silly way to sleep! So glad your eye is getting better.
Such a cute kitty doing a face plant, how she sleeps like that I’ll never know MOL, LOL
Cute photo. We’re glad Misty May’s eye is improving.
The Florida Furkids with love and whisker kisses to Sawyer from Noelle
I’ll be! Back when Robin was still here, she used to do that for naps in the day. We thought it was unique and the boys, just young teens, two of them, and pre- teen, the youngest, were enchanted. They said she was saying her prayers.
I can see that Misty May’s eye is still swollen, but am glad to see that she is now able to close it. That is such an adorable sleep position. I don’t think dogs do that….
So happy Misty May is doing better!❤️
Looking forward to lunch today and the “Bright Star” performance at Mill Mountain Theatre!
We are SOOOO happy Misty May’s eye is better! We think face-plant naps are perfectly cozy ways to have a snooze and Misty May is the perfect “model” for that particular sleep position. Love your fill-ins too…..we’re glad you have your house cleaner helping you out because keeping up with a big house and a lot of kitties is a BIG job!!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, a darling way to snooze. I’m going to try it, too.
That is a great face plant, Misty May? Glad her eye is improving.
That sure is a different way to sleep!!
Good to see that now she can close her eye.
Good fill in answers.I know what you mean about special needs pets complicarting matters…Minko needed to be hand fed 3 times a day for three years….but you sure do have your hands full with Sawyer and Misty May.
I would love to have a house cleaner…and someone to mow the lawn and take care of snow removal…but yet, those things help to keep me fit, so I don’t grumble (too) loudly, LOL!
Awww! Misty May looks so adorable! Very original way to sleep! Good to hear her eye is getting better!
Angel Mango used to sleep with her entire body upside down including her head! Misty May, I haven’t seen a face plant before you showed me!
