Wordless Wednesday with Some Words
If you missed Periwinkle & Stinky’s Adventure yesterday, they virtually visited The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center for the annual Fashions for Evergreens. They shared photos of some elaborately decorated tress. Periwinkle kindly said she liked our trees best. So, I am sharing them today. I actually posted photos of the trees on December 3. At the time I had not completed decorating either of them.
This is a 7 1/2 foot tree, and it is in our dining room. It is decorated with non-breakable ornaments, and Kitties Blue have full access to it. They have been totally disinterested. Not one paw has touched the tree or any of its ornaments.
This is a 9 foot tree. It is in our sun porch, to which Kitties Blue do not have regular access. It is covered in glass ornaments, especially Pooh and Muffy VanderBear.
I have been collecting ornaments since Dad Tom and I married in 1973. Many are from our trips to other countries and many have been gifts from friends.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these photos.
Kitties Blue and I will be participating in the Wordless Wednesday blog hop at Comedy Plus.
Lovely! Thanks for sharing.
Oh WOW! Your trees are beautiful, Mom Janet! Funny that the Kitties Blue have no interest in the tree with the unbreakable ornaments. 🙂
Both trees are beautiful. We have ours up with the unbreakables, but we skipped the Star Trek tree this year. XO

Your trees are absolutely stunning!
Your trees are gorgeous! Especially the Cat Toy Tree! Us cats have left the tree alone this year. Mom is afraid she might have jinxed though…the last time she said that, Nellie Bellie climbed the tree at 2 AM on Christmas Morning!
|Thanks for sharing them with us! Sending you the very best wishes for a joyful Christmas!

Oh my goodness, your trees are absolutely beautiful!!!
We haven’t had a tree for thirty years – when we got more than two cats – so we really enjoyed your trees. Thanks fpr sharing them !
What a gorgeous tree. Beautiful. Look forward to the pictures.
Those are beautiful trees and what a wonderful home you have. Now about those non-kitty areas we have to discuss…
Gorgeous trees!
Kizmet is going to enjoy them next year, for sure.
They are both beautiful trees. Wow, you’re very crafty.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
Periwinkle was right, your trees are super amazing!!! Mom had lots of special ornaments that were lost in the storage place fire. One of our trees is now a “memory” tree with the few ornaments that survived and some of Auntie El’s ornaments.

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Wishing you, Dad Tom, and all the Kitties Blue a very Merry Christmas!
The trees are simply beautiful – I love collecting ornaments from trips and adventures too – every year when we unpack them for the tree we talk about that trip to wherever and it’s like reliving it. Your decorations are great and it’s a nice idea to keep at least one tree “cat safe” !!
Merry Christmas……………Pam and Teddy
Extraordinary!
The trees are lovely.
Your trees are absolutely gorgeous!
